Terrible experience, customer service is seriously lacking any luster what-so-ever !!!! INCIDENTLY THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER TAKEN THE TIME TO PUT INTO WORDS HOW DISAPOINTED I AM WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED. I LITERALLY SIGNNED UP TO EXPRESS MY FEELINGS TOWARDS THE STAFF AT MULLIGAN'S FAMILY UN-FUN CENTER.
We decided to take the family out for a nice Sunday afternoon, and decided to try a new place that we have seen on numerous occasion from passing by on the 15 freeway.
We arrive at 1:30pm and were greeted with a smile by a young lady behind he counter who helped us with selecting the best over all package for the family, after discussing that we had come for Miniature Golf and Go-Kart racing, we had purchased 3 all Day Ault Passes for myself, my wife and eldest daughter, at which point we were told that our 3 and 5 year old would be able to experience everything within the park (with the exception of the water park which was closed for the season) with the "Kiddie Corral" passes.
We completed our purchase and after a the long drive down from Corona we were ready to have some fun. We immediately requested the putters and golf balls from the same young lady who had just completed our transaction and started out to the Miniature Gold Course. After our round we headed down to the full size Go Karts, we rode and had a blast. All was great and we were enjoying the park and our seemingly great Sunday family time.
This is where it all went down hill.
We headed down to the "Kiddie Karts" where we my 3 and 5 year old waited anxiously to drive the karts all on their own, after the had jumped in to the karts when the attendant checked their passes to find they were insufficient. We were informed that the passes we had selected included everything except the "kiddie karts" so we had to drag our children out of the karts with tears pouring down their faces. When we went to inquire further why this was not presented to us at the time of our purchase we were simply written off and given no response just a dirty look.
Fine...we then went inside grabbed a few cold beverages and settled the kids down by hyping up the fact that we could go on the BIG KID Karts :wasn't that fun". Great we were on track .
Back in line for the Go-Karts we waited nearly 30 minutes again with anticipation, to be stopped dead in our tracks once it was our turn to ride, by a young lady named Jo who we had already cleared us our first time out and stated that we did not have the correct passes and walked away briefly, I had mentioned that she had already cleared us the previous trip and was told simply and I quote "not this time buddy' naturally outraged by the lack of concern for my family at the Family Fun Center I began to explain that we had purchased all day passes and explained that we just went through this at the Kiddie Karts and it was explained that our passes included everything with the exception of the Kiddie Karts which we had finally come to grips with, and now I we could not ride these karts as well. The response I received was simply you can walk this way to get out of line. I was treated as an undesirable customer. No one came to hear us out or help us resolve this matter. Once again my kids are disappointed and in tears.
I went to complain and found that the only line open in the place was the snack bar. I have never been so disappointed in the service my family received , or lack thereof, not once did anyone try to help us resolve this matter, I WOULD HAVE GLADLEY PAID THE DIFFERENCE IN THE PASS TO MAKE MY FAMILY HAPPY.
WE WERE TREATED LIKE...
Read moreFor over 22 years, I been the number one customer at Mulligan Family Fun Center, and I was also known as The Milk Jug Toss King. This is how my story begins when I first moved To Palmdale back in 1997, Funland USA made its first grand opening which was in the middle of December. It was the original name of that place right before it changed to Mulligan Family Fun Center later in May of 2004. Janice Hume was the original manager of Funland USA , she was a very nice person , and I know a lot of people that they do good jobs there. As for me , I was the first jackpot winner in Skeeball , and my first prize was a Lava Lamp that I won for 10,000 tickets. After 7 years that passed, Funland USA has came to an end , because this place has given it a brand new name. It was called Mulligan Family Fun Center. It made its first grand opening in May of 2004 , this is how my journey begins. Bill Carroll was the first manager of Mulligan Family Fun Center , he was a good friend of mine , and he has a daughter that also worked with him. Her name was Sabrina Solis, and she was very pretty , because she's been doing good and helping everybody get their party started. I remembered Sabrina worked in the party area , because she was helping the rest of the entire crew. I also remembered Bill and Sabrina both left Mulligan Family Fun Center , because they moved to another state and I felt sad that I'm really going to miss them. I have some brand new crew members who is also taking over Mulligan Family Fun Center. The new managers are Karina Bautista and Chris Ogden , Kevin Gillespie the General Manager. Jesse Duncan and Jennifer Leon the Shift Managers. Evelyne Puente and Sabrina Sabedra the Receptionists. Terrick Mackabee the Go Kart Mechanic. And The Shift Leaders are Jessie Moreno , Vickie Cano , Tony Laughlin , Ian Sullivan , Evaline Rosales , and Matt Williams. Together me and my friends of Mulligan Family Fun Center are like a happy family , and they treat me very nice because I really appreciate that. After 10 years of saving my tickets , I became the ticket millionaire , and the game that got me rich was called Milk Jug Toss. All of the customers were so excited about me , because I made the biggest jackpot in the world. I love coming to Mulligan Family Fun Center , because all the staffs and managers love me , and I get my pictures taken with everybody like once in a great while. I keep the pictures in the photo album , so that way the pictures could be in mint condition. It's just like a high school yearbook. I would like to thank Mr. Robin Thomas , the President and Founder of Mulligan Family Fun Center for all his support. I dedicate this journal to my friends Catherine Kaucher , Craig Miller , Lenny Shavers , Ray Messerly , Allison Burwell , Denny Reyes , Shawna Blackwood , Crystina Dumas , Marissa Graham , Katlin Walters , and of course Nina Nelson. Thanks for all your support. There are 3 locations of Mulligan Family Fun Center in Torrance , Murietta , and Palmdale. Hope to see you all there at Mulligan Family Fun Center , It's Absolute Pandemonium ! Thank you all very much for listening , and enjoy your day right here at Mulligan...
Read moreIf I could give a negative I would. My son had a banquet there I have 2 sons the banquet was for my 12 year old (old enough to rome a little more freely then my other) I stuck to my 4 year old. He LOVED the junior go carts so we literally back to back for a good hour no line no older kids bullying the little ones. Took a good break came back more kids all ranges of ages (some should not have been able to get on at all period just saying) so there's a line of about 20 kids my son is probably around the 10th, mind you he's going alone no friends not in a group nothing. The associate that was working the carts is a dwarf one of the kids at the front of the line(in a bigger group of kids no chaperone all ages)called him a midget. I didn't hear it I can't tell you the context situation nothing. All I know is my son didn't say it and he's been in line for about 20 minutes because kids keep pushing him back cutting in line. The associate gets mad yells at the kids all of them and some random guest a nobody gets in front on the entire group and addresses ALL parents and kids calling us all disgusting we are a disgrace we shouldn't be parents so on and so on. I look at him and said don't address my son and don't speak on me and mine without knowing who the hell I am. He insisted on being a "hero" yelling at a bunch of kids and women. Okay so myself and another mother left the kids with siblings and confronted the man about how he is wrong. He owes us an apology and he needs to learn to handle situations better if he's going to try and save the day you figure out who said it you fine the parent and you address it period. So it escalated got ghetto because the husbands and bfs coaches weren't going to let this man talk anyway to our kids and women and think he's off Scott free. He was singing a whole different tune now. Then I went back to my youngest STILL IN LINE! the associate is skipping and taking whoever is basically being pushy and handing him the card first. Mind you my son's a shy 4 year old alone he's just excited to "drive" so of course he's getting skipped I can't even trust him to not lose his card so the adult has it. That's crazy my son's now been in line about 35 40 minutes a manager comes out of the carts are after speaking with the associate about what happened and I politely said excuse my son's been in line for over 30 minutes because he's not going in order of the line that's ridiculous and unfair my son didn't do anything to deserve that type of behavior her response was I trust his judgement and what is doing and I'll have his back. Oh great management skills, so trust that everything that went down was justified and trust me your lucky. Is there any type of management skills customer service skill anyone that has some type of common sense to de-escalate the situation so you can make everyone happy. Clearly I'll never come back I'll never suggest it and honestly I don't for see this place ever becoming a must see attraction. Horrible stay away...
