Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Murrieta

Small slider compared to other places but was good. The bartenders didn't know me. First time I came in for many years. They were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable alone. Regulars were in there and unfortunately they stopped or changed the happy hour so many were disappointed. That doesn't fall on bartenders. Those two girls (shift change) were really nice and they don't tolerate drunks starting fights. I tipped 20% which wasn't much for one beer and one slider. They were appreciative of that. Being a bartender in the past.... I don't feel like they should expect a huge tip from everyone. Some people tip what they can afford. Under tip/over tip it all works out. 20% should be fine and sat very well with them. I appreciated that and will Mayne choose that bar over another during certain times. Was a really great place to watch the games today, Had front row table to watch 3 differant games at once. Place was crowded with fans from all the different teams. Only 2 waitress working. They had their hands full, but did the best they could taking care of everyone. Ordered personal pizza, That was some TERRIFIC PIZZA. My only suggestion would be add more tables in the room off the main room. Went in there first, large group watching the game by the main TV, tons off floor space left, but no tables to set at. Other then that, great place . Per their flyer at the table, they show all the games, Mon, Thursdays. and Sunday. The atmosphere here was pretty chill, a lot going on, fun looking people, but not too loud you couldn't have a conversation. Unfortunately the food and drink were both pretty bad. Mixed drinks were pretty bland and all the fried food on the sampler platter was fried for too long and almost burnt. I'm sure that only have one person working the bar area didn't help as they seemed a little overwhelmed, but the owner also looks to blame that in the government instead of trying to fix it themselves based on a poster they had up in a few places.
