Love, Dreams & Pie — Restaurant in Murrieta

I went into this shop on the way from taking my BMW in for service and was appalled by the pies coming out of a huge freezer as you buy them yet they pride on “ Natural and Fresh” ingredients but freeze the pies? No thank you I also heard whom I assume is the owner speaking crazy with a lady who was so sweet as it seemed and she was clearly owing the lady something from ear shot, I would consider doing your pie shopping somewhere else! She was very aggressively speaking to the lady saying she has no money to pay her and she’s going to leave if the lady didn’t leave ! Was very off fits the vibe in this shop. * to respond to the response it’s definitely legitimate and I also never said old lady in my review, I also am a huge fan of food and a pie frozen is not fresh you bake and refrigerate and once you freeze them they are not fresh , even Gordon Ramsey says frozen is not fresh , I also said nothing about your rating I said the vibe was off I said nothing about your kitchen rating. I also would like to point out that the conversation I heard the lady / owner that I know assume was you also in fact happened only you would know what happened I am simply stating my personal experience and I would not recommend your place to a friend. I stopped by on May 19th with my friend. Terry was welcoming and friendly. She immediately offered us a sample of the Curry Chicken Pot Pie. My friend and I really enjoyed the flavor and freshness. I looked at the small 5" Pies in the cooler and decided on the Salted Caramel Apple Pie. I was considering also the Sweet Dark Cherry, but I will try it next time. I asked Terry if I could keep the menu sheet and she said yes. As a baker and business owner myself in Lake Elsinore, I do not mind at all the pricing because it takes a lot to run a business and fresh ingredients are not cheap at all. Consumers forget the inflation the past couple months. I read some of the recent reviews and is unfortunate to see how consumers do not appreciate. I plan to go back and try more flavors and pies from this business. I got a nice experience, and I am looking forward to the expansion that will create a sit in experience. I will be highlighting my menu sheet, the pies I buy from time to time. The pies are so delicious and fresh! The banana cream pieee has a cinnamonny crust 🤤 OMG SUPER DELICIOUS! The lemon cream pie is so savory, we also bought a strawberry one, forgot the name but it was really good! You can taste the fresh strawberrys. My favorite was the dutch apple pie 🤤🤤🤤 in my opinion its better than Julians Pies. I had a taste of the chicken pot pie too. Super delicious, again spot on with taste. I dont mind paying for quality food. These other people complaining about the taste, clearly have no good working taste buds. They need to clean their mouth with all that sh.T they eat. Lol also, if they can afford grocery store pie, then let them. Nothing screams "broke" than coming online to complain about pricing of a small business, save those opinions for the check out line at the supermarket while ur holding on to your high fructose pie. On another note, I look forward to making the 1.5 hr drive for some pies. The drive is worth it. Cant wait for you to open many other little shops around California, more cities need fresh pies in their communities other than Marie Calendars. Xoxo...
