I’ve been waiting for Guthries to come back to the Shoals for years! So glad they’re right down the street again, and the food was SO GOOD! The fries and chicken were fresh out of the basket and came out FAST, plus the sauces were so delicious and flavorful. The menu is very affordable for how much food you get and the SWEET TEA 🙌🏾 gotta be the best in the Shoals! Give ‘em a try, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

PS: give the staff grace while they are figuring out parking 🚗 It’s a small restaurant that’s been packed for their grand opening (which is a blessing) and they are still working out the kinks. They do have a team member in the lot guiding traffic to make sure everyone can get in and out safely. I’d recommend parking in the Dollar Tree lot if you need to dine in - it’s maybe 20 feet from the Guthrie’s...

The current drive-thru setup is untenable and dangerous, heavily exacerbated by vague or misleading signage. Due to unclear directions, customers are incorrectly approaching the line from Michigan Street, causing the line to spill out and block residents from getting home. Internally, the confusion continues: drivers entering the back of the lot try to cut into the line, which completely blocks the exit-only lane, trapping dine-in patrons. Placed order at 7:06 pm, 25 minutes later no food. Went up to check order and was told it was sold to someone else. So from the beginning, order was $22.61, cashier wanted to give me $13.39 back for change. Girl checking on my order said I don't have a clue I just came from drive thru. Shame on the manager for hiring some air head's who think the way they look is more important than customer interaction.
