Sweet Peppers is such a massive staple in my household! From the service, to the ordering, to the food, they are one of very few fast food restaurants in this area that is consistently a perfect 10. My husband and I LOVE the online ordering experience. They offer so many options to customize every item of your order, and the staff always does a wonderful job paying attention to your online order. The staff is ALWAYS pleasant and very helpful. My husband forgot to order my meal without a certain ingredient. After a quick call to Zamayiah, my order was PERFECT. I work at a historic home in Tuscumbia, and have literally recommended Sweet Peppers to every visitor that has asked me for restaurant recommendations. Sadly I found myself in need of a sandwich tray with only 2 -3 hours notice. I learned during the call on Thursday April 29th management let many staff leave after the lunch business & while they would do it this time they insist on me giving a minimum of 24 hours notice from now on. In hind sight I would have preferred she simply say no without the excuses and attitude. Having ordered one for April 4th (in advance) and picked up on April 3 due to Easter closing I can only imagine she thought it necessary to berate, belittle, and criticize me for asking. I suspect this particular order will be my last ever for anything from Sweet Peppers. This doesn't speak to how good or bad the menu is merely the treatment and attitude I endured. I've been there often and have eaten many things on the menu. Server suggested brisket nachos. Big serving of nacho chips, red onion, great tasting horseradish sauce. Problem, no brisket. Had less than an ounce of what appeared to be shaved roast beef, less than a tablespoon full. I asked the server if this was correct, and she indicated that was it and informed me I could get more for an upcharge. The large bowl had what amounted to a smear of melted cheese on opposite sides of the bowl, not even reaching the bottom. I left the majority of the chips as they had nothing on them.
