Horrible service...my son and I stood at the counter several minutes with NO acknowledgement...a team leader or manager(later identified as Makayla) looked directly at us and said nothing and walked into the dinning area....another manager or team leader named Christian continued to work at the front counter area never acknowledging us, no contact whatsoever....then when I got fed up an asked is it typical to not acknowledge customers. Christian said something under his breath (with his back turned)...I asked him to repeat then i said nevermind and stated I could take my business elsewhere. As I was leaving Makayla, who was by then sitting in the dining area, sarcastically said, "goodbye" from across the restaurant. I asked why did she feel the need to speak when she failed to do so when I was waiting at the counter for service...she said "because I was going on break" I said well you could have told someone we were waiting and she said I didnt have to talk to the like that...I'm like you mean ask to be serviced...i asked her who was the store manager initially she said didnt know but then said "Randy" but claimed she didnt know his last name hmmm...so then I asked the other manager/team leader who had ignored me and he didnt respond at first then said "Randy" asked for a last name he said "I dont know I dont work here" I asked him his name he said "Christian" when I asked for his last name he refused to give it to me...I asked an employee who told me his name was Christian but she didnt know his last name but that he normally works in Grand Rapids. I will never go to this Burger King again. If you don't want to work while you are at work then quit...but ignoring customers then being offended when its brought to your attention is not...
Read moreI've come here a few different times, and every time, I was severely dissatisfied. My most recent experience was the other night. I came to try a new menu item around 10 pm. There was one car in front of me, and another in the other drive thru lane. 3 people who had already ordered. The line didn't move for 30 minutes. At first, I thought it was the car in front of me taking forever, but I rolled my window down to find that the car in front of me was waiting the whole time to place their order. The line started to move with the lane next to ours, going first. I sat behind 1 car at the speaker and finally got to order my 1 item at around 45 minutes. I didn't get my food until probably around the hour mark. There was no sense of urgency anywhere. The person talking in the speaker sounded displeased with everything said. I've worked in fast food in the past, and I can promise I would have moved cars faster with just myself in the restaurant. If I wanted to spend over an hour just to get some food, I would have dined in at a normal restaurant. On top of that, it was short at the window. Payment, handed back with my food, and the window shut. On top of that, there wasn't even a receipt offered or in the bag. Normally, I would give some grace because I understand how stressful the work can be, but every time I've gone here, it's the same treatment/speed. I wouldn't recommend going here for anything. It'd be faster driving to the next town over and getting something if you really had your heart set on it. If I owned this establishment, I would be ashamed and embarrassed at the lack of management...
Read moreI went through the D.T. 730 a.m. on Jan.3rd and was hoping for a better experience. So this time it was not better. I asked for everything to be fresh. I ordered 2- 5pc French toast sticks and 2 sausage biscuits. add cheese. Im not sure if they were pissed bc I asked for fresh food but instead they microwaved the ft sticks and as they cool they get hard and rubbery. Microwaving 101. The biscuit sandwiches were fine except I I got charged for 2 sausage, egg and cheese biscuits no egg. Instead if 2 sausage biscuits add cheese. I pulled up to the first window and stopped bc the sign said pay here that was in the window. They then waved me up to the 2nd window and were not happy about that. Why did they go to work today I wondered. Oh right bc like everyone in America, they have bills to pay and kids to feed. They need the hours but with this poor quality of food there hours will get cut bc the customers will find someplace else to spend 12$. I used to go 2x a week. That comes out to well over 1000$ per year. But wait there's more, I spend another 20$+ for lunch/dinner several times a week as well. So over 2000$ per year. Managers- please pay better attention to your surroundings. If nobody enforces the fresh food policy ( my way right away) that Burger King wrote the book on- it won't get done! Don't forget everyone has a replacement that's in...
