Legends Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Muskegon

Came here for the Bloody Mary bar. My table ordered our drinks immediately. They weren't put into the system until 20 minutes later. We then waited 15 minutes. Two people received their drinks and the rest of us did not. I had to go to the bar twice to get our drinks and ended up bringing our own drinks to our own table. People continued to go to the bar and order their own drinks. The owner was called in he grabbed a beer and sat down at a table while his server and bartender drown. Poor management if you ask me. I ended up saying something to him he told me he would make it right and that we would have a round on him. However, when we went to check out he never comped anything. I asked our server and he went to the owner. They took $10 off of our bill and a $10 gift card to get us to come back. We will never be back. We watched the owner of the bar run his last restaurant in the ground and I'm expecting the same thing will happen with Legends. Save your money and go next door to Rad Dads. My wife and I grabbed some beers from the bar and sat at a table for about 15 minutes and the waitress never once acknowledged us and seemed to avoid even looking in our direction. They werent busy.

Edit* Owner took 2 months to respond and blamed on short staffing.

Did you read the part where it said it wasnt busy in there? There were about 4 other tables to serve.

All I'm asking for is a little acknowledgement by your wait staff. Even if just to let us know that they are busy and they will get to us when they can. That would be enough.

We waited closer to 30 minutes but was being generous in the review.

So now I have to edit this review and lower the stars for "service" to 1-star.

If you look in the reviews there are multiple people who experienced this around the same time. 2 months ago. They also said it wasnt even busy.

Last night my husband and I came in a bit later into the evening. We were greeted right away by the bartender we asked him if we could sit outside on the patio and order food and he told us yes a server would be right with us. Not even 2min later Kayla came and greeted she informed us before ordering that the kitchen was running a bit behind and food was taking roughly an hour. We decided to go ahead and order food because we really weren’t in any kind of a hurry. We enjoyed yummy drinks while we waited. We could tell the staff was busy and it was fun to watch how well they all helped eachother. Another server bri/bre came and offered us refills and checked in on us while Kayla was tending to other tables. When the food finally came out it was fresh, hot and worth the wait.
