Over the past 2 years we have met our dear friends here when they were in town. Our experiences were always positive and we enjoyed the waitstaff, bartenders and food. Unfortunately, that all changed mid-afternoon July 5,2023. My husband ordered a frozen margarita, our friends and I ordered our drinks. About 7 minutes passed and the waitress came back and said they didn’t have the ingredients for a frozen margarita so my husband ordered beer. I asked if my wine was poured and she said ‘he’s working on it’. Our friends received their drinks. We looked at the new expanded menu and ordered an appetizer. My husband ordered the 10 boneless wings with fries and a sauce(which he’s ordered many times before and was on the menu). The waitress told him they only have the 5 boneless wings. So I said well the chef must not have ordered correctly and she smiled. When our choices came, they were okay but certainly not the caliber we have experienced before. We asked for refills on our drinks. The bartender brought them, slid them across the table, we thanked him and never acknowledged any of us. What happened to the great staff that was there and so cordial and happy. The bartender who used to be there was personable and attentive. We...

Our food was horrible this is actually maybe my first 1 ☆ rating!!!! Ok let's start with our tea had gone bad very soured. Our appetizer was fried mushrooms and the breading was raw not cooked. Then Our food came out and the chicken was I'm guess completely frozen to begin with. So it was like rubber could not cut a fork and barley with the steak knife. It was the chicken melt. The bacon was under cooked and the mac and cheese was cold and orka was still cold inside as well. Also my other party had chicken wings that was so tough that they did not eat. I don't have nothing to brag about here. Maybe I will brag that it still cost me for a tea, chicken melt and chicken wings was 49.00 and Tipp was 9 something so almost 60 dollars for nothing we left it all on the table. So 60 dollars wasted. Then after we complained about the tea the waitress says I hate the tea. And laughed said you either hate it or like it. Never once offered another beverage. I still tipped and was nice but the food needs attention and I wondered why it was...

My husband and I went there for the first time tonight and we really enjoyed it. We actually would give them a 4 1/2 and not a 4, but we can’t mark that on the above stars ⭐️ so we’ll just type it here. We had their fried mushrooms and really enjoyed them, we’d give them a four. He had the Big Max which was a hamburger patty with a hot link, bacon 🥓, and cheese 🧀 served on Brioche Bread with housemade Jack Daniel’s BBQ sauce. He said he would give it a 4 1/2 and the food combination tasted really good together. We both ate their French Fries and would give them a five (5.). They lad a light crisp crunch to them and they were very good. I had an Old Fashioned Hamburger served on Brioche Bread and I’d give it a strong four (4.). It was definitely filling too!

Also, they had the restaurant decorated up for Christmas and it was BEAUTIFUL! I have some pictures I’ll share, but it’s even prettier in person.

I’m so glad we went and we’d go there again. It was definitely a...

Hadn't been to Max's in forever. $13 for a "cosmic martini" titos, cranberry, and lime. I had to order a shot of titos on the side because we dont think any was put into mine. My friend got the Mexican fruit roll up, and it was a normal sized drink. And really good! We got the queso and salsa. Which is just jarred salsa and basically Velveeta. I wish companies would start specifying if its actually queso vs Velveeta cheese dip. Its too expensive for the quality. And $13 for a drink w three drinks is ridiculous. Their outdoor area is nice, though. They have the waterfall again.

Max's garbage is more like it. I ordered bacon on my burger. Guess what I got, no bacon on my burger. The home fries were burnt all to hell. No salt. No seasoning. The Mac and cheese tastes like it came out a box. My husband ordered a quesadilla. No seasoning. Does anybody in Oklahoma use seasoning? I'm being so serious. I give 1 star because they did hook up the pickles. Also I added salt on the fries. I wasted almost 30 dollars on this. I had so much hope for this place. I hope Santa gets y'all some spices for Christmas.
