Earth Cafe — Restaurant in Myrtle Beach

Cute place nice concept. Service was awful. We never received refills and went 20-30 minutes without seeing our server. Two of our meals came out made incomplete and server never came back to check so we ended up eating as is. Bland and no flavor. Crispy chickpeas are flavorless and soggy. Heirloom tomatoes equals grape tomatoes not delicious big fat heirloom tomatoes. Very misleading. Falafels are grossly under seasoned. We fed 4 people for $75 and the food was very disappointing. Fries are decent, except the truffle fries are expensive and have zero truffle flavor. They also put them under a broiler and they get rather hard and unenjoyable, Verge of burnt. We were very excited to eat here and hoped it would be our go to spot for quick and healthy meals. It was neither quick (salad and wraps took 45 min), nor delicious. I would go to SunBelly cafe we had a very enjoyable experience and amazing food there full of flavor. Oh and the lavender Latte has ZERO lavander flavor. Either they forgot or they upcharge a ton for cheap tasteless syrup both is possible. I really can't say...

We just walked out halfway through our order. Never done that before. The woman at the register with glasses who took our order was the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with, just super unfriendly from the start and through the whole interaction. My girlfriend asked if the oatmeal was made with milk and she just stood there with a face like “you’re an idiot” and said yes. My gf then asked if it could be made with a non dairy milk, the lady asked another worker and came back and said “yes”, my girlfriend then asked what kind, like oat milk? And the lady said water. Meanwhile the whole time she keeps turning around to cough her brains out. We finished placing our order and before she could cash us out she turns around to cough again, and then just walks away from the register without saying anything. So I said, let’s just leave. Just lost an easy $50 order because of your rude cash register lady. And we won’t be back the rest of the week...

2024 Update I enjoyed the avocado toast with the falafel. The avocado spread was very thin. The Acai tasted too sweet even I asked them to not add honey. The home fries were super good this time. Overall we had a good experience.

2023 Update

Don’t get the portobello sandwich. Make it vegan means they take the cheese and pesto. It was very bready with minuscule content inside.

I’ve also tried the oatmeal which is very average. I’m sure you can find some items that are good but my experience was not the best this so so I have to take one star.

Oh and the home fries were not nearly as good this time. Maybe they changed the seasoning.
