Village Square Shopping Center — Local services in Myrtle Beach

At Village Square. most of my shopping is done at the Neighborhood Walmart and Dollar Tree. They both have well stocked merchandise and the staff are very personable.

I do not like having to check out my groceries. It is just like "pumping your own gas"!!!! Some services should be assisted by staff!

I sincerely appreciate the staff who walk with you to your car and place your purchases inside your car. I am disabled and this is a wonderful service, especially Walmart.

I do not like the "no tipping rule" to these members of staff, because they deserve a "small monetary" Thank You.

One person in particular, is Wayne. He is extremely personable and helpful with lifting heavy items from my grocery cart to my trunk. The other staff members are at the desk. If I can not find an item, they are very helpful looking it up on their computers and if available, getting it for me. I couldn't return an item I bought by mistake. I purchased a plug extension adapter, asked about returning the item while on my next shopping trip, and I was told by an older lady working at the customer service desk I couldn't return the item without a receipt. However, I would be able to exchange it for "equal value". I sent my boss man back with the item and the lady who had previously assured me I could exchange the item, denied saying it and refused a return. I did not have the receipt but was assured by a representative of the company it would be exchanged. After reviewing the stores return policy my merchandise fell under "General Return". Highlights, haircut and style by Lisa #22 inside Sola Salon Studios. Fairly new building renovation. Relaxing, calm, serene booths, separated hairstylists with soundproof sliding door to each. Lisa, trimmed, thinned, highlighted my hair and styled. Unhurried and personable, Lisa listens to your needs and recommends accordingly. Inviting entrance leads to numbered doors.
