El Monkey Loko — Restaurant in Nacogdoches

Super disappointed, usually we have decent service but tonight my husband and son went in while I waited in the car. They waited patiently for someone to take their order by the counter. The lady looked at my husband and son ignored them completely and went back to talking to another person in the kitchen. They still waited for a few more minutes, the lady looked at my husband and did not approach him. That’s when my husband just decided that they did need our money tonight and we left. My youngest daughter wanted to go try this place out since we pass it a few weeks ago . My oldest wanted some fresas con crema . No good had a very strong flavor of sour cream 🤮🤢. I asked for the tamarind raspa with no chamoy and tajin what do you know they put that nasty stuff on there 🤢🤮 went back and told to fix it they did by then the raspa was dry nachos with cheese with a few peppers on there but they loaded that sucker with jalapenos corn tastes sour .. almost 40 dollars wasted . Won't be back there no more water my gas , money , and time going to Nacodogches...

This is a great spot in Nacogdoches to cool off during the blazing summer heat. When I visited, we were in a bit of a rush so we didn’t order anything too big, just some popsicles. The coconut one was great! I’d be curious to try some of the other menu items on a future visit.
