STAY AWAY! WORST MEXICAN RESTAURANT I HAVE BEEN TO, AND I EAT AT A LOT MEXICAN PLACES. First impression, all the tables were dirty when we walked in. Even when busy, no excuse to have all tables dirty. It was not busy when we walked in. Restaurant needs remodeling in it's restrooms. The sinks are old and rusty with lots of yellow. Women's restroom door doesn't close easily and you have to push and push to close it. I'm strong, and I struggled. Worst of all, the food was horrific. My husband's food tasted rotten, especially the nopales and jalapenos. They tasted like they were left out for days. They already had a smell, I showed the waitress. I'm afraid to get food poisoning for tasting my husband's food. Fajita was very chewy, not good. Cheese quesadilla lacked cheese. Not worth it. I'm not sure why this place has good reviews after tasting their food, maybe not enough options nearby. We should had gone to the BBQ place nearby. I would choose another Mexican place if you are craving Mexican food unfortunately. Choose another place if you don't want to get sick. Not worth it. I'm sure they use bad...
Read moreBest Al Pastor in town for sure. I've eaten way more Al Pastor tacos in my life than the average human being...I assure you that these are the best Taco Al Pastor (con maíz, cilantro, y cebolla) for the price ($3.25 for 2), size (big handmade corn tortillas the size of most flour tortillas), stuffed with big juicy chunks of that iconic, neon red, smokey chile marinade. I can't say for certain because I didn't take a peek in the kitchen, but if I had to guess (judging by the texture & flavor of the pork) they cook there's on a trompo. There's nothing worse than a taco stand claiming to specialize in Al Pastor tacos, but don't cook the pork on a trompo. The marinade is the first major component to good Al Pastor, the second is that it's slow spit roasted shawerma style to maintain texture and promote even maillarde reaction, the 3rd (in my opinion) is the tortilla. This place had all 3. Or...
Read moreTaco Tuesday is the best day of the week. Try all of their tacos on the corn tortillas. The house sauce provided is great. Personally, I think the mildest sauce tastes like liquid grass clippings. Habanero is the very best I have ever had but is not for the faint of tongue, heart, or nether regions. Explosive flavor. Middle sauce is best for really coating things down. Salsa and chips provided before meal is great. Usually 2 of us go and are fed and paid out in less than 30 mins. I'm a bigger guy and usually have to struggle to finish that 5th taco. You wont go hungry on a Tuesday...
