Elisa was patient and welcoming-- we're new transplants to the area. When you walk in and all you see are empty plates and happy locals, you know you got it right! It was lunch time but I was able to get Huevos Ranchero and my husband ordered Carnes Asadas. Pros: Both dishes were generous sizes My eggs were perfectly prepared (over easy)-- BEST Huevos Ranchero I've had since living in So. Cal!!! I can't explain how happy I was with every single bite!! Grilled steak was just that... fire grilled and tasted amazing. The flavors were simply spot on. Restaurant was very weltogether gether, clean and inviting. Nice big bar and seating area separate from regular dining room. Both had tvs... not distracting. Seating/tables had good social distancing. Wait staff was quick, attentive, polite and professional. Price points were very reasonable... $10 - $16 more most items. Compared to other places, very reasonable given the high quality of food, amazing service and the...
Read moreFirst thing we noticed our napkins were dirty. We asked Vicky our server to bring us another place she said yes but we notice an attitude also they never brought one for our daughter so I had asked for it and is okay but every time we asked for something, she would make a not very pleasant gestures. We notice there was different type of attitude with other white customers, they even offer them additional items like salsa and chiles but not us. When my husband ask for a spicy salsa she had the same attitude. We personally did not like the food at all and we didn't even finished our food because of it. I had never ate a dry chimichanga like this one, my husband steak had big chuncks of fat. They have so much more to offer for those prices. She offer a box to go I said no thank you! She made a smirk again. I didn't say anything or complained we left a $4 tip according to the service. She needs more training for this...

We found Frida's Mexican Grill was one of the few places still open at 6pm and went in. Although they told us they were only open another hour when we asked, we never felt rushed. Service quick and attentive without being intrusive, and the food arrived fairly quickly but not so soon you felt it was reheated. The cheese enchiladas and chicken quesadillas were both very good. As I sat and drank a margarita and watched other diners come in as we were finishing our meal, they were treated just as courteously. We left feeling full and relaxed, and tipped generously, grateful to have found such a nice place through pure...
