@Jk Kabab is one of my top 2 favorite halal desi restaurants in Illinois. It is my go-to spot to get Butter Chicken or falooda from outside. Would you try it? What would you try? Let me know in the comments. #desifood #desi #indian #pakistan #pakistani #chicagoland #chicagosuburbs #halal #naperville #chicagorestaurants

Glad we found this place with amazing Indian food since we are far from Devon. This is Indian style meat dishes much different from Pakistani dishes. The dishes we tried were made to perfection! The chicken tikka was fully seeped through with the marinate and super well made crisp on the outside and so tender on the inside. Mind you the tikka is super spicy so don’t try that if you can’t handle it, however it is worth every bite, it’s just right spice for tikka, imo. The Karahi chicken was superb, probably THE single best I’ve tried around Chicago! It has plenty of heat spice and flavor gravy with tomatoes and onions and super tender juicy chicken chunks or meat not only bones as most other places have, also the style as I mentioned is Indian so taste wise is much different than Pakistani Karahi. Normally Karahi is not my favorite dish but omg this Karahi was totally overwhelmingly delicious! The dal palak was the bomb! So well flavored perfect texture and dal-palak ratio provided a pallets blend between tikka and Karahi bites. The parata is perfectly made. Parata is not my bread go to, I normally prefer nan but this parata was amazing large foldable flaky non-oily crispy tender not chewy super delicious to taste! The raita was delicious and provided a chill between spice bites, it was not watery it was thick creamy and had all the ingredients and was not spicy, very tasty I ate 2 cups :). Lamb seekh kebab was dry not too spicy. It was good but it’s not my thing and not the best item here. We are far from Devon so happy we found this place, will be back to try all the other items. Wish they had biryani too! But the basmati rice was nicely done flaky and delicious. The seating is casual but neat, service was great and very fast. Highly recommend the tikka and Karahi.

This review is based on 3 different trips. My first trip was unplanned as I was looking for a place to cater food for a party. I ordered chicken Kabab paratha roll to test out the food and was super pleasantly surprised by the warm paratha roll with fresh green vegetables and the red sauce. I ended up placing a large order for two boneless chicken biryani trays ($90 each), 25 Chicken kabab rolls and 25 beef kabab rolls. They charge you the same price per roll whether you order 1 or a 100 so unfortunately there is no gold member treatment. I felt a little underwhelmed as I felt nickle and dimed for extra sauce etc. The paratha rolls and the biryani were super big hits at our party which solved any negative feelings around paying for extra sauce (they charge $4.99 for an extra container of sauce). It is not a lot of money when you are placing a large order but these little things can go a long way in making the customer feel a little special. Trip 3, I went back with some family The members and called in advance as they do make everything fresh that can result in some wait time. This worked out well as our food was out in 5 mins. The parathas were just as warm and fresh as the last two times. The fresh vegetables in their warm rolls really do make a positive difference. JK Kabab has the best paratha rolls in the Western Suburbs.

They don’t know how to deal the Carry out orders in this situation ...the person who is taking the carry out orders on phone is so overwhelmed that she doesn’t even know how to be particular while taking orders and handling those orders by not mixing them... I ordered something else but received wrong order and got to know this when I reach back home at 40 min drive from their restaurant... but upon calling to let them know the situation....the rude lady over the phone was showing arrogant attitude. instead of being apologetic she was saying I am the owner I am this and that.... I can not make mistake...I am saying that I didn’t give you this order and she is insisting that she didn’t mix it with anyone......oh my god...I didn’t say you for return or anything else...I am just saying you that please be particular... anyone can do mistake and in the situation when everything is only carry out, there is a chance of mistake... it’s understandable but not even listening to your customer and being rude is not justified... My advice! make sure even thrice when you order this restaurant either they are not mixing it with any other order and secondly check your order at least once you receive your carry...
