Starbucks — Restaurant in Naperville

I’ve worked at the animal hospital down the street for a few years now. Only recently, have I became an AVID and routine Starbucks customer. Even recently downloaded the app to get rewards/points, because I’m hooked! I hesitated writing a review before and almost did AGAIN because of all the raving reviews about you guys, but almost EVERYTIME I go to this location, which is typically Sunday mornings, the drive thru staff are rude! It seems like the only time they are “pleasant”, is when they are DELIGHTED to tell me that I order something and they either ran out OR if I order a SIZE that typically they don’t make for that specific drink. It’s almost like they are TOO eager to blurt out bad news. Otherwise, I’m sorry to say, but I’m almost GLAD I only go to them on a sporadic basis. Went here 10/21 around 10am. Placed a mobile order for a croissant only. I pull up and there’s a car at the window getting their order. It takes a while, but that’s fine. The person working at the drive thru pets the lady’s dog, grabs her phone, is having a convo with her. Awesome, love the customer service. I pull up, not a single acknowledgment. The person who was so sociable, didn’t even say hi to me. She’s talking to her other coworkers for probably over a minute. So there’s 3 people in the kitchen and not single person has opened the drive thru window to let me know the status on my order (which was ready bc I only ordered a croissant and saw it there lol). I finally honk since again, not a single person has acknowledged me, and she finally gives...

There prices continue to rise with nothing for the consumer to show for it. Better taste, more variety, larger quantity meals just empty pockets. The help is not as upbeat as they were in earlier years. No good reason to go there other than those who want to meet their dating site choice without much of an investment. They're in, they're out, they're gone. Maybe that's why so many are closing throughout the country. Who would have thought when the hype was at it's strongest that you would see a Starbucks close let alone the huge number of them...
