When I was inside the Starbucks, I ordered a pumpkin cupcake with cream cheese frosting, 3 mummy cake pops & a pumpkin Latte. *I told her that the cute festive cake pops were going to be a fun treat for my kids & she responded to me-so that made me know for very certain that she understood my order up to that point. I conveniently payed with my cell phone using the Starbucks App which is the best & easiest way to pay. I was handed a small bag that had the cake pops in it & was told she had to warm my cupcake. She handed me the warm cupcake & I made the cashier aware that she had given me the wrong kind of cake pops- I reiterated that I had ordered 3 mummy cake pops but was given two chocolate cake pops & a pink cake pop. I assumed that she was going to take care of the issue & that it was going to be a quick fix.... That was not the case; she began to rerun the transaction on her register & I told her to just forget it-that it was fine & that I didn't want to hold up her line anymore... she seemed to be fine with that. She began to assist her next customer & not fixing her error with my order. I just walked over to finish waiting for my latte to be done which took a bit more time than usual...? *I had met my friend there during her lunch break-so I didn't want to waste anymore time. I waited until my latte was done and sat by my friend to enjoy the remaining time of her lunch hour. Although I was disappointed with the service I received - my visit to this Starbucks location was fun because I was able to sit, talk and laugh with my friend while enjoying the ambience. *The pumpkin latte, pumpkin cupcake with cream cheese frosting & my friend's regular coffee...
Read moreI walked into the Naperville Crossings Starbucks expecting nothing more than a regular iced coffee, but what I got instead was one of the most bizarre and uncomfortable experiences of my life. As I placed my order, the worker behind the counter gave me a strange look, like I had somehow offended them just by existing. When I politely asked if they could make sure the drink wasn’t too sweet, the worker sighed dramatically and muttered something under their breath. I ignored it at first, but after waiting nearly fifteen minutes while everyone else got their orders, I finally asked if mine was coming soon. That’s when the worker snapped, accusing me of “harassing” them just for asking a question. Before I could even respond, they threatened to call the police and said I was making them feel “unsafe,” despite the fact that I hadn’t raised my voice or done anything aggressive. A manager came over but didn’t resolve anything—instead, they just stared at me and told me to leave if I didn’t want trouble. I walked out shocked and embarrassed, empty-handed and completely confused about how asking for a coffee turned into being treated like a criminal. Honestly, if this is how customers are going to be treated, maybe this location shouldn’t...
Read moreWent to have a coffee with family., Placed an order for 2 American Latte and Spearmint Gun and Butter popcorn for the kid. After placing the order asked the person on the billing counter should I wait to get the Coffee., she informed that I will be called once it’s ready. Went and had a seat patiently waited for 30 minutes no sign of coffee coming., hence I went to the billing counter to check the status of when I will be receiving the order. This time there was a new person who had no clue about my order and said my coffee dint had a label and it was picked by some body else and it will take some more time for my order. Wow so basically they wasted 35 minutes and they want me to wait for further long to get the coffee. How do you explain that.. I give up!! End up canceling my order. Never expected this kind of casual customer service who don’t value and respect customers precious time. The manager chipped in realized that they have messed it up he was trying to compensate me with some Gift Card but who would need that.? Will that few bucks compensate the 35 minutes which was wasted I guess not. Have decided not to go to Starbucks for a coffee anymore. Worst...
