First Watch — Restaurant in Naples

RACIST LOCATION BEWARE!! We had a horrible experience with the wait staff at this location. We were seated and then we were not acknowledged by a waiter or waitress for ten minutes and that’s only because I got up and went to the hostess to inform her that no one has waited on us yet after ten minutes. A female waitress helped a table directly across from our table and she never once made eye contact or spoke to us the ENTIRE time we were there. She greeted and helped three other tables on the same isle we were on while completely ignoring us. There were other people that were attended to ahead of us after we sat there at our table while waiters and waitresses walked by our table and ignored us. We were very close to getting up and leaving but we were hungry and wanted to eat and get out at this point. Once our male waiter finally came to our table he automatically assumed that we didn't live in Naples. (Yall must be from out of town) Sir we can afford to live here also. We felt so discriminated against at this location by the staff. The food was great, but the treatment and blatant discrimination was totally unacceptable. I definitely did not leave my normal 40% tip. We ate and then got up to pay and I expressed our issues to the hostess and she never gave an apology she just laughed and said at least the food was good……. I was appalled but not surprised. Racism is a choice that people continue to make. As a very successful African American male I will continue to call out these racists establishments and will not let this type of treatment slide. I received the worst treatment/service I've ever had since visiting this venue. Initially I ordered the chickichanga and discovered it was too spicy. That was my mistake, but I was allowed to reorder a breakfast sandwich. I asked my waitress, Dianna, to have the egg fried well, not over easy. When my order arrived the egg was over easy and ran over the rest of the sandwich. I explained the problem to another waitress and she said they would remake it. Dianna brings me out 1 egg, not the rest of the sandwich. I tried to explain to her the whole sandwich had been ruined but she grabbed the plate in a huff and complained about having to change it again. In fact the runny egg was probably her fault for not placing the order correctly. From that point on she ghosted me and sent another gentleman out to serve my order. I never received any more service from Dianna. Had to get up to get eating utensils and in the end had to carry my plate to the kitchen to ask for a to go box. To add salt to the wound, Dianna stated she would write down her name for me so I could write a review. I've never had such awful service at this establishment or any establishment in Naples. My fiancé and I came here for my birthday breakfast today.

I ordered the trifecta with crispy bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese. He ordered the Parma skillet with over medium eggs & no cheese because of his allergy.

Food came out and there was cheese all over his skillet. My eggs were hard, the bacon was disgusting, and the waffle was burnt. (I still ate the waffle because I was hungry).

My fiancé had to send his back.

The remake was even worse! The eggs were severely undercooked. He asked for over medium… there’d were raw! The whites were clear, and the sausage in the skillet was still pink (not fully cooked).

He tried to eat around it but the skillet was a gross, RAW, soupy mess.

Now he’s throwing up behind a target because of the lack of service, and safety that this location had.

Had they taken the time to cook the eggs properly to over medium, he wouldn’t now be sick to his stomach. Praying he doesn’t get food poisoning from this.
