Molcajetes North Naples — Restaurant in Naples

We used to go often when we lived in Naples. Now every time we find ourselves there, we make a stop here! Last night the food and service was outstanding! We ordered cecina de res and al pastor and it was seasoned to perfection. I cannot find cecina de res anywhere in any state that I have traveled to and have eaten at an authentic Mexican restaurant so I really really recommend it! Actually…maybe don’t try it so that it’s never sold out when I go 🤣 The server was so personable and made us feel comfortable! She deserves a raise and a paid vacation bc she really knows what she’s doing to make the experience for the customer top notch and on top of that she was managing the restaurant by herself! I regret not remembering her name.

Btw if y’all are looking for places open for Christmas, they’re gonna be open on Nochebuena...

We had the worst experience in a Mexican restaurant don't get me wrong the food was good I can't say anything about that but the costumer service was the worst they took like10 minutes to bring up the menu they didn't offer any sauce I have to ask first time I do that in a Mexican restaurant, only have one waiter and she didn't have any experience with people you have to explain and have a knowledge about the food that you offering in a restaurant I have to ask about every thing they only have a few people in front of us and they took like one hour to bring the food also they charge a fee of 13 dollar for tip like a restaurant I don't know is that allows you always tip depend on the service that you had so not good to do that honestly I will never comeback to this place good luck to everyone else that comes...

Pésimo servicio, ayer 14 de noviembre en la tarde como a las 6PM a la Tamiami trail, pase y pedí algo para llevar, el servicio que recibí por parte de la mesera fue el peor que he tenido, especifico este detalle para que el dueño ubique a la persona responsable de esta reseña negativa que afecta su negocio, yo nunca pongo reseñas negativas, si algo sale mal simplemente lo omito, pero esto fue demasiado.

Pedí algo pequeño por $16 dólares, después de que pagué la mesera me dijo que la comida estaría lista en 10 minutos, le dije que estaba bien, que esperaría afuera, afuera hay unas mesas que para mí eran más cómodas que esperar adentro, el restaurante estaba vacío solo había un cliente adentro cerca de la ventana donde yo esperaba y así podía ver adentro, pasó demasiado tiempo la comida nunca la saco de la cocina al menos para que yo pudiera ver que estaba lista si es que ella no quería llevarla a donde yo esperaba, pasaron exactamente 30 minutos, y la comida nunca estuvo lista para recoger, así que entré y le pregunté si estaba lista, cuando entre ella dijo que checaría, escuché que estaba lista y lo que hizo fue agarrar una bolsa de plástico para empacarla, cuando me la dio le pregunté, si estaba lista porque no me la había dado?, estoy esperando demasiado, ella dice, "SE ME OLVIDO"... Le dije ¿no ves que estoy esperando?. La comida ya estaba lista desde hace mucho tiempo para que ella simplemete la llevara al frente y no lo hizo, le pedí que eliminara la propina que yo había dejado, ella respondió ofendida que por la propina que le dejé no se va a morir, no pidiendo disculpas simplemente ofendida como si fuera su casa y yo fuera uno más al que regaña, se te olvidó que estás trabajando y estás ofreciendo un servicio. No es la primera vez que me pasa en otras ocasiones se la pasan revisando los teléfonos y tengo que esperar a que terminen, repito ayer fue suficiente, y comparto esto para que el dueño tome cartas en el asunto, el peor servicio a raíz de esto no disfrutas la comida; sin embargo, si te gusta recibir un mal servicio sin duda puedes venir aquí. Nada más que agregar, diré que una vez recibí comida, que ya...
