Sweet G's Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Nappanee

I went to Sweet G's for the 1st time (last week) and the facilities size was way larger than I had originally thought on my "quick glances when I'd drive by on my way home from work. ! You can really tell that the owners not only put in a lot of thought, time, and effort into making their business but that they also poured a nice amount of their money into the design, decor, and layout of this place. It's beautiful inside as well as outside on the patio! It has large/high beautiful front windows, a very neat and CLEAN and friendly environment and their ice cream is unlike anything I've ever had seen/tasted before, (and I'm 35yrs old lol!) Overall I would HIGHLY recommend rate this business establishment an amazing 10/10 and one of the #top 2, locally owned businesses here in Nappanee Indiana! The employees are helpful, knowledgeable, and super friendly! And did I mention the Deliciously "HUGE" Waffle Cone that I'd purchased and filled with "Salted Caramel Oreo" ice cream?! First time I've ever heard of that flavor and omg I fell in LOVE so now I'm OBSESSED with that...

Stood in line which is typically normal here depending on the time of the day but what was frustrating is the handful of flavors I only eat were out so I decided I would try their strawberry cheesecake but then I noticed that was pretty much gone so I wasn’t going to get anything but one of the workers told me she had some in the back so I was like ok sure I will try that. When she came back she already had it scooped and the new container was untouched. My cup of ice cream was all white with zero cheesecake or strawberry. I’m very frustrated and disappointed with the service. I completely understand places get busy and run out of product but I believe they should have that posted somewhere in the store so instead of waiting in line for over 20 mins then finding out is very frustrating bc if I would have known differently than I could have made a decision to possibly go somewhere else but instead I felt pressured with a huge line behind me and the workers just...

I was so excited about trying this place for the first time. Brought my family in to celebrate my granddaughter’s birthday and my grandson and I both ordered a scoop of cookie dough. Neither of us could eat it. It tasted like rotten milk. I took it up to the counter and asked politely and quietly if I could switch it out for something else because I think this has rotten milk in it. She said, No, but you can buy another one. Are you kidding me? At $3.75 after tax for a little scoop of ice cream, you’d think they could try to satisfy a possible regular customer.
