I also left a review on yelp. |
We spent hours on Reddit, Yelp, and Google researching some of the best pizza places in the Narragansett area. Leo's was a constant on all forums. I'm not one to leave bad reviews, however, I feel it's necessary to inform anyone else using the same mediums to make decisions on what pizza places to spend your money at, Leo's left us disappointed. Pricing was a little high, $65 for 2 large and a small pizza. Not insane, but when you see the size of the pizzas you may be surprised. One of our pizzas was messed up, and had a topping we didn't order. Not a big deal but adds to the disappointment. Customer service wasn't phenomenal. And most of all the pizza just wasn't great quality. As a matter of fact, one of my group members even thought the pizza was a frozen reheated pizza before we told them it was from Leo's. Here's some of the reasons why the pizza wasn't desirable:
Floppy undercarriage Cheese fell off constantly Pepperoni was undercooked Lacked flavor
Otherwise, the Greek pizza was better than any other pizza we ordered, however, was really just a little...
Read moreMy family has been ordering from leos for atleast 10 years, they used to be really good and had great customer service now it sometimes good, and mostly bad with what you want. They got this specific order horribly wrong today though. Asked for dressing with salad, no dressing. Pasta with meatballs was supposed to come with breadsticks, (hoping for atleast 2) only came with one. Ordered buffalo wings, recieved buffalo tenders which just tasted like frozen tenders with buffalo sauce. Asked for another blue cheese after adressing the inconvienence and they even charged it, which would usually be fine but was hoping since they got the whole order wrong they would atleast give the one small thing of blue cheese for free. This is not the first time they have messed up, everytime we order here they Always forget the honey mustard. Every single time I order which sucks because its so good. Also recived a dead fly...
Read moreI understand the times were in and how small businesses need to adapt, so I tread lightly. However place was hard to find at first given there’s a huge tent for outdoor dining, walkways and parking lot was complete ice. Walked in to pick up my order and the girl at the front scolded me to put my mask over my nose before even greeting me, even though my mask was on correctly as I put it on before I entered. Calzone was decent, the size wasn’t all that great as I work at a pizza place myself and use the same small boxes that this place does and it fills half the box unlike this one which was oddly cut in two pieces compared to 4 or 5. The calzone was decent, cheese was good and dough was good, chicken was subpar and the Buffalo sauce was eh. Definitely better options in the area especially...
