I haven't been here in probably 30 years, service was fine as was the food, the Italian I had was messy but delicious. I love that the veggies are diced as opposed to sliced, personal preference. I love that the bread has a bit of "chew" to it as opposed to becoming mush with the oil that goes on an Italian.

I had a small Italian sub today. Well worth the 9 mile drive down from Londonderry. I could not wait to get to my destination before I started in on it. I still had half left when I snapped this photo.

I love this place. Ate here all the time as a little girl. Moved to NC and still visit and get a steak bomb when I can. Still as good as I remember.

(This review is LONG OVERDUE to be shared, and i apologize ahead of time for the length....)

I stopped going to Danellys for a long long time due to poor customer service, inconsistency in the food i ordered (correct food, inconsistency in the way its made) and a general dark, unhappiness in the building. Suddenly out of nowhere... A ray of sunshine showed up!!! Who am i speaking of?? None other than Melinda!!! Her whole demeanor lights up the entire lobby. As soon as anyone walks in and sees her behind the counter, they know they are going to be treated like a friend and thier order will be made exactly how they order it. She makes my entire day better with her bubbly and infectious personality. I look forward to ordering Danellys now!!

Let me just say, since Melinda has been there, Danellys has done a 180° degree turn!! Food is made with more care, (all the way down to how she wraps the subs!!!), the place looks cleaner (the area behind the counter, around the food, is no longer dirty and unappealling to the eye), i never have to wait more than 10 minutes MAX, from walking in to walking out, (and its only that long if there are others there ahead of me), and she speaks to everyone with respect and care, as if shes known them forever (maybe she has??), but honestly, my favorite thing though, is no matter how my day was prior to getting there, i am GUARANTEED to walk out of there w my order in hand, made with extra TLC, and a huge smile on my face, all thanks to that caring girl.

I never leave reviews. EVER! But i had to brag on your girl. She is that stores greatest asset!!! People usually say this joking around, but she TRULY deserves a raise!!! Please do not let that young girl go, because any company would be crazy not to scoop her up to join their team!!!

Danelly's... keep it up!!! I have loved seeing the positive changes going on in that place, and i know im not the only one, i talk to other customers everytime im in there, and at one point alot of people were afraid of Danellys closing. But you have renewed our faith!!!

KEEP DANELLYS OPEN AND CONTINUING TO GROW AND TO THRIVE!!!! YOU ARE A STAPLE IN NASHUA!!!

Looking forward to getting my delicious Pastrami sub, this Tuesday, after you reopen from your vacation!!!

Much love and...

Recently my husband, foodie friend, son (young) and I went on a "Sub Crawl" for the best local subs/wraps for Nashua/Hudson area. Danellys subs won, hands down.

Our criteria for picking the places we got subs from was: Near my house Serves decent looking subs Looks like a good atmosphere if visited

My group ordered the same subs from each location to match 1:1 if at all possible with a backup sub or wrap to keep things consistent if our sub of choice was not available.

I chose Pastrami subs, hubs chose a Caesar wrap, with a roast beef sub backup, and friend had meatball with a turkey sub backup.

My pastrami sub came out wonderful. I order my pastrami with mustard and provolone. What stood out with Danellys for me was they offered a choice of mustards, giving me access to my favorite spicy mustard instead of just yellow mustard (which would have been fine but a favorite will always win). Danellys uses an amazing fluffy bread for their subs that everyone raved over. It was light and cloud like, but also didn't get soggy with wetter subs. I ate some and then needed to wait to eat the rest since a sub crawl gives a lot of food even if you order smalls everywhere. Their small sub is very generous. The meat was still moist an hour later, and the bread was still light and fluffy. The next day when I toasted the leftovers to reheat it, the bread toasted up nicely, remained soft in the center and pastrami was still delicious. Everyone in the group rated Danellys consistently the best. It was unanimous.

The only con I can think of is the parking was a little annoying, being street parking and having snow banks to step over. Not a big deal, and not in their control.

The inside was small, but had decent seating. The menu was easy to read and placed well. The workers were personable, professional, and lively. This is a place of quality, kindness and positivity. We will be back, we will be ordering delivery from them, and we will be suggesting them to our...

I recently ordered a Italian sub and a large pepperoni and sausage pizza. Here are my thoughts on this restaurant:

First, the large Italian sub costs over $11. This was one of the skimpiest Italian subs I have had. There was barely any meat on it. The vegetables were also lacking. The sandwich was all bread. I was very disappointed. Please see the attached pictures.

The pizza itself, was actually not bad. It was tasty, although it was certainly lacking some toppings. I ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza and it was lacking a lot of sausage. Please see the pictures each topping cost two dollars to add.

Finally, I had this food delivered. The delivery driver did not have any change to give me. He ended up with a $12 tip because he could not break any of my bills. In my opinion he thought this was funny. On top of that, the delivery charge was four dollars. He ended up with a $16 tip from all this. I did call the restaurant to tell them that the driver did not have any change and I did not think that was fair, and they acknowledged it but did nothing.

Overall this was not a pleasant experience. I will...
