Unacceptable Treatment and Discrimination at Cold Stone Ice Cream Store
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my profound disappointment and outrage at the treatment my family and I received at your Cold Stone Ice Cream Store located at Brentwood on Mar 10th, 2024
Thirty minutes before your posted closing time, my wife, our two children, and I entered your establishment eager to enjoy some ice cream together. However, instead of being greeted with hospitality and courtesy, we were met with absolute rudeness and discrimination. Despite there being no visible sign indicating an early closure, we were flatly refused service by your staff. It was evident that this refusal was based on nothing other than racial discrimination. The disdainful looks and dismissive attitude we encountered were both shocking and deeply hurtful. As customers, we deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of our race or any other factor. The discriminatory behavior exhibited by your staff is not only unacceptable but also a violation of basic human rights. I demand an immediate apology from your management team, as well as an assurance that steps will be taken to address this issue and prevent such discrimination from occurring in the future. Additionally, I expect appropriate disciplinary action to be taken against the staff members involved. Furthermore, I will be sharing my experience with others in my community and on social media platforms to raise awareness about the intolerable behavior exhibited by Cold Stone Ice...

Same story here : Cold stone is one of my wifeās favorite . We go to store on 4th . There is no other customer ( Now I see why ) ! Everything seems fine until that āgirl ā comes from back and takes over order . Wife and I had one sample apiece and we share . We literally have figured out what we wanted . Then that āgirlā tells us the āsample rules of three samples per person and that we only had one left ā. I understand these kids have been taught that ānew math ā but this is a little fuzzy . 2 (person) x 3 (sample) = 6 (sample). My wife and I was not looking for 6 samples yet the delivery of her information was totally unacceptable. So much so my wife walk out and it almost ruined āVibe ā . I suspect the āGirl ā did not want to work on the 4th . I am sure the owner would not have treated us this way and I would encourage manager/ owners to gain your independence from the āgirlā! There was a gentleman without a mask third to next when we entered..we were about 6th in line..then came time for that gentleman to order and the server Jon Jon asks the gentleman ādo you have a maskā and the gentleman goes āno..can you supply oneā and long story short..thereās already a 6 feet distance from guests to ordering..but no 6 feet from guests to guests inside while in line... the gentleman wasted a good 20 mins just to be told ColdStone canāt take your order without a mask. I would appreciate it if ColdStone would tell guests upon entering that they need a mask instead of being told 20 minutes into the line because letās be honest whatās a mask here in Brentwood and if masks are required at a ColdStone it should be required to enter!! Not to order!! šš. He was already without a mask inside for 20 minutes šš. Whatās the point of that..couldāve just taken his order at that point.
