We frequently choose Longhorn for a several reasons: Variety of menu items, freshness of ingredients, speed and friendliness of service, and attention to food allergies. The service at all of the locations we have tried has been great. The wait staff is attentive, available, and friendly. The food is cooked to order and promptly served. The menu is "standard" for a steakhouse: Plenty of beef selections with a smattering of chicken, seafood, and salads to round out the offering for your party. There are enough choices to please most diners interested in frequenting a steakhouse. I would say the vegetable offering stands out: Among the common options, they also offer broccoli, asparagus, and brussels sprouts. While not everybody is going to choose an establishment based on the side vegetables offered, I will say it is one of the reasons we frequently choose Longhorn. We can get the common stuff with a steak anywhere: These selections allow them to stand out from the crowd of establishments with good steaks. The other reason we choose Longhorn: We have family members with food allergies, and this is one of the few establishments to publish (some) of their allergens, but are willing to carefully custom-make some of their dishes to help us avoid allergens (avoiding the use of dairy, etc.) upon request. With some establishments, the back of the house is an assembly line, and custom modifications are either impossible, or horribly derail their process. Whatever the case with Longhorn, we get the modifications we need, to help us all have an enjoyable experience. Isn't that a big reason we all eat out? We want recipes, preparation styles, ingredients and expertise we don't possess - and we want to be pampered a bit in the process. We get that at Longhorn. We think you will find you do, too!

We usually love longhorn, this was a horrible experience. I never leave reviews, ever. This was that bad. First off, my daughter has food allergies, which we very clearly expressed and explained that she wanted the kids sirloin but it needed to be cooked on a pan (or however they could cleanly cook it) with absolutely no butter or oil etc. her steak came out covered in butter/oil. Had to tell our server that it appeared to have butter on it. His response was "oh, so no butter?" Like it was the first he was hearing of this. Not even an apology. The grapes they gave her (I asked if they'd be able to get some from the fridge to avoid cross contamination) visibly had a piece of cheese on it. So I asked for the kitchen manager who came by and corrected it. On top of that issue, service was terrible and sparse despite it being very dead on a Saturday night at that. My broccoli was pretty much raw and not good. The asparagus I was charged a 3$ up charge for, was also terrible. So bad I took one bite and that was it. It tasted like it has ole bay seasoning on it. The almost 30$ ribeye I ordered was chewy and not good either. l've had this exact meal at several locations in Florida where we are from, and it was very good. Never had any issues with service or allergies at another long horn either. My husband's fries were overcooked and not good. Extremely disappointed and honestly pissed I just paid 90$ for bad service and bad food. 90$ for a meal that could have landed my daughter in the ER. Will not be returning to a longhorn after that. We could have eaten anywhere else in the area (there’s plenty of options) and not had such a negative experience.

This LongHorn has been a reliable Steakhouse for many years. On a Saturday night you still find every table is full and ninety minute wait times. Other typical mid priced steakhouses usually have a "truck stop" decor pushing beer, bar and beef. But this longhorn doesn't have a license plate in the place. Instead, the decor draws from the vast plains of the west in dark colors and lighting. The tables are thick wood slabs to bring the customer to interact with the surroundings. The night I was there, the crew worked the room with professionalism and the kitchen produced food that didn't disappoint. My guess is the management here puts an emphasis on how valuable it is to get a steak temperature right the first time. I had a sirloin and shrimp combination with a loaded baked potato and rice pilaf. They followed a standard house salad with house made dressing. Although I wanted the cheese loaded mushroom cap appetizer, I passed on its deliciousness this time. I cleaned the plates as each item was expertly presented. When compared to a "Sperry's" or a "Morton's", LongHorn feels like a value meal. But it is pricier than most local restaurants. If pricing is set aside, I have no issues with LongHorn.

My family and I went out to dinner there and you will NEVER find a more AWESOME STEAKHOUSE!

To make a long story short (it'll be long, I talk a lot!), our family had a couple things going on. First, my sister is a diabetic. Since we did know how long we'd have to wait to eat and she needed to eat soon, our waitress brought her out something to help her not "crash or go into diabetic shock." How SWEET and THOUGHTFUL of our waitress! Most places would have said, "ok, I'll seat you asap, but then don't)."

I also have a problem with my sense of taste. Just so you know, I told the waitress, not her fault! My poor waitress took my steak back three times before it tasted right to me (in fairness, I asked my sister to see how it tasted to her, to see if it tasted like I thought it was supposed to or not. It was fine to her, so I didnt say anything.) When the waitress saw I wasn't eating the steak, as I mentioned, she insisted on taking it back. Subsequently, the manager also came by to ensure my steak was perfect to MY taste and both the waitress and manager apologized, saying it was their responsibility to get it right for each customer! I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED by their service and attentiveness to my problem. They never had to, nor did I expect them to, replace my meal, since they did nothing wrong!

It was exceptionally busy, yet, we (5 of us) were sat immediately and our waitress was one of the best we've ever had! Besides my problem, she made sure everyone had what they needed, without us having to wait or ask. She came by just enough times to make sure we were getting quality service, without hovering or being non existent!

We had an outstanding meal! We're visiting from out of state but we will be coming back before we have to...
