Good location when traveling through Nashville. Near the interstate and quite a few nearby places to grab a quick bite. The young lady checking us in was pleasant. At first glance the room seemed nice. Lots of room in the "living" area and even had a small fridge. First impressions are not always accurate. After kicking off our shoes and looking to unwind with a bit of TV before hitting the hay, we soon discovered this hotel has the LEAST amount of functioning channels of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Maybe 10 had pictures you could actually watch. They had a channel listing guide, but no guide to let you know what was on those channels. Since there were so many on the tv that did not actually work, you couldn't just channel surf. You had to go to the guide, select a channel, see if it was anything good, then either click through a bunch of static channels or return to the guide and play channel roulette again. Ok, so no tv. Just going to use the bathroom and grab a shower before bed. This place has the WORLD SMALLEST BATHROOM. You cannot stand in the bathroom and close the bathroom door without either stepping in to the shower, or straddling the toilet. This is no exaggeration. To get out of the bathroom, you must do the same in reverse. Serious design flaw. Why is the sink outside the shower/toilet area? If they had designed it to include the sink area there would have been ample room to maneuver! Ridiculous. Know what else is ridiculous? The shower. Someone else's hair on the floor was a nice way to start off, followed by the shower head which was calcified. The glass shower door leaked so we had water all over the bathroom floor. Cause that's what I want to do....mop up the floor of a hotel room bathroom. Finally decided it was time to sleep. The bed was....ok. I have slept in worse, but if you like a firm mattress boy oh boy you will like this bed. It was warm and stuffy in the room so we decided to turn up the air conditioner. Only thing is, you can either have the fan running (which I like when I stay in a hotel, as the white noise helps cover other guest noises), OR you can have the air conditioner blowing mildly cool air. But you cannot have both! It is not even an option on their outdated units. The filter looked old and nasty, and the unit kept shutting off as soon as it got cool within a 6 inch area around the unit. The heck with the person on the other side of the bed, or heaven forbid, on the sleeper sofa. No cool air for you! The unit was also so close to the bed that my husband literally stubbed his toe on it when he got up in the morning. Another poor design choice. When the ac unit shut off (which was often) the mini fridge made so much noise I finally had to get up and turn it off. Then there was breakfast. Wow. I have seen some skimpy "free" breakfasts in my travels but this one takes first place. Other than small boxes of cold cereal, and one cold bagel, one english muffin, and a few pieces of bread, plus a very limited selection of fruit, they had 3 hot dishes. One was bacon circles. No, that is not a typo. Picture thin microwaved pieces of some kind of bacon substance (not sure it was actually real bacon), formed in to a circle. Why? I have no idea. But there they were. A whole pan of bacon circles. Then they had, what I can only guess was some sort of egg flavored dish (again, I doubt they were real eggs). It was an egg type substance with what could have been partially melted cheese sprinkled on top, and some sort of mushy green and red stuff in it. The red stuff may or may not have been either tomatoes or peppers.....or could have been something else totally. The green, I really can't say. There was no way I was going to be a test subject and taste it. Then there was the banana stew. At least I am guessing that's what it was. A pot filled with sliced bananas, slowly turning brown, with some sort of moisture in the pot. I have no clue what this was, or what it was supposed to be. After all was said and done we left, tired and hungry. Should've have just kept driving the...
Read moreWe stayed here in april, 2023 and I have held off for 6 mos writing this review but even now i am still so upset about my experience that i must write it.
We booked a handicap accessible room with pull out sofa. There is major design issue in the room in that when the pull-out sofa is open to a bed it fully blocks access to the bathroom (you can not open the bathroom door). This makes this room both a FIRE HAZARD and non ADA COMPLIANT!
When I went down to the desk to express my concern, a nice young man came up to the room with me and to see if we could position the couch in a different way, the room does not allow for it to be moved at all. He offered to try to help move us to another room however all other handicap accessible rooms are exactly the same. At this point someone else at the front desk, a young woman named SYDNEY interjected.
SYDNEY took a very negative and belittling tone with me asking what I would like for them to do, they can't kick someone out of any other room, and they can't solve the design problem. I said, I understand the situation but I do think that I should be treated and talked to with more respect.
Her next response was the most outrageous thing I've ever heard in the service industry, she said and I quote, "WOULD YOU LIKE FOR ME TO GET DOWN ON MY KNEES AND BOW FOR YOU?" At that point I simply asked to speak to a manager who was not present at the time.
Over the next 3 days I left a few messages for the manager named TYLER. He never returned my messages and I called him several days after the trip was over to discuss the situation. Not once in that phone call did he apologize for the situation or the way i was treated. He did not say he would address the situating or that he would speak to Sydney, he simply offered me a few points for my inconvenience. I told him this was unacceptable because I was so disrespected and the room was so unacceptable.
I took the conversation to corporate who was absolutely horrified by the situation and how I was treated. They brought this to the local management company that oversees this hotel and several others in the area. They reached out to me and we're very polite but never truly addressed the issues or my concerns, and I found their response to be forced and INSINCERE.
I travel often and have not stayed at another Hyatt since this occurred. I am obviously still extremely upset and disappointed that this happened, and that management could not offer a better remedy or a sincere apology. SYDNEY was horrible to me and the Manager Tyler dropped the ball and made the situation worse.
On top of all that, please DO NOT plan on staying here with a handicapped person if you need to use either the pull-out bed or the bathroom because you can't use both! I hope the ADA and fire department...

Good Afternoon,
I wanted to let you know of what happen to me here last night!
I called you guys a few days ago about rooms for once I decided which day I need you and made sure y’all’s be able to help me bring my luggage in and then when I leave, as always, you all said yes.
I arrived last night, a woman sitting at a table doing nothing watched me come in, sat there little longer and finally got up, logged me in and changed my room from a mobility room that I asked for (I had to tell her I need the room that’s why I bought it) she said oh, I didn’t see anything wrong (so she judged me and my medical disability)(Age discrimination) and then when I said I needed help with my luggage she said she can’t do it and I should go somewhere that has a bellman! What? Did you all stop accommodating and helping people with a handicap or disability here?
After explaining I’m a long term Covid patient with oxygen and lung/breathing and muscle/joint issues, she kept on embarrassing me until the guests behind me finally said they’d help me!!!
Had they not interrupted to help, I was going to have to go elsewhere she said if I can’t do it myself, AFTER I’m already paid and ahead of time.
While I parked my car, she gave them a gift card….
So, I’m thinking I’m going to let the news outlet here know what happen, I’ve reached out to our family business lawyers to be involved if I need because if this is how you help people with disabilities, I’m going to let others know they need to go elsewhere like I was told!
I will be getting corpt involved as well.
THIS IS NOT OK! VERY UNACCEPTABLE
Maybe because of been traveling 12 hours, no extensions, no makeup, looked a mess and she thought I was just a nobody that she could treat like that, HUGE MISTAKE!
One more thing, below are my pulmonologist and my dr who does my epidurals and handles my back! Just so you know I’m not blowing smoke up nowhere!
I’m truly disgusted, appalled and very concerned in your ethical behavior to the rights of people with disabilities, even if you can’t see...
