RACIST/DEMONIC EXPERIENCE! If I could give 0 stars I would! It’s been a long day. My son and I have been running errands for the past few hours and before we headed home, we planned on stopping by this location to get an order re-made from the day before so I wouldn’t have to waste anymore money than we already have. Yesterday, we stopped by and got a whole steak and Mozz sandwich, a bowl of soup, a candy cookie and a large drink. Everything was up to Paneras usual standards but the steak sandwich was way off. The bread was like stale and hard, the meat was chewy and not like it has been before…. Almost like old. It was just terrible. So I called up to the store as soon as I got home and let the manager on duty know that the sandwich I had paid for was not of the same quality that I am used to. I was politely told that I could return in the future (which is today) and that they would be happy to remake the sandwich.
Omg! The way I was just disgustingly mistreated and talked down too like I was a child. Not by one employee, but 3 different employees. They asked me what seemed like 100 questions trying to validate my order although I had the whole sandwich, wrapped up and still in the Panera bag it was given to me in hand. I kindly let the manager know that I called the day before and she began to berate me asking who I spoke to and where is my receipt. I answered all her many questions while her and three other employees huddled up trying to find my order in their system. I confusingly asked, why wouldn’t the person I spoke to tell me I needed to bring in my receipt? Although it was very apparent that the manager on duty (Carol or so I was told) did not believe me and was determined to use me not having my receipt as a reason to not remake my sandwich. The other shift lead, (Rudy or so I was told) and another young girl with a nasty attitude again, just had me standing around waiting. After about 10 mins and because there were people now behind me wanting to order, I, respectfully, decided this transaction was no longer worth my time.
I told them to just write down their names and provide me with the number to corporate because I did not appreciate their attitude, their tone and the unwarranted disrespect for me, my son and my time. , The manager on duty, Carol, grew evil and condescending in a matter of minutes because I asked for her name. She proceeds to tell me that I don’t need it. She then insults me and starts accusing me of things that were not true. I literally felt like I was in a twilight zone. I thought stuff like this only shows up on the internet to unruly, mentally ill people. The interaction was so bad, I just asked the manager blatantly if she was a racist which she quickly dodged and used it as a way to dismiss herself from the conversation which for the record, she never denied! I should've asked her if she was a racist and a demon because the energy she gave was that of a controlling, evil racist. She told me we were done while leaving a trail of her rude and obnoxious comments with her. I asked again for the 4th time for any of their names and they all said they were good and did not have to give them to me despite them knowing I was calling corporate which I will be doing first thing tomorrow. I am in awe. Complete shock. Utter disbelief. Horrifically embarrassed and now have to go get my son something else to eat when all he wanted was some chicken soup because he is sick and doesn’t feel good. Panera! I will be calling tomorrow and I expect now a full refund for the sandwich. I will never give yall another copper penny of my money if this is they type of people you all employ and if you are not going to stand behind the quality of the food you are putting out. For the record, I am keeping this sandwich until I am able to show you this was a full sandwich with a bite and maybe a half out of it. Unbelievable! You’ll be hearing from...
Read morePanera is usually a really good place to eat and have fun, I agree with that, but what I do not agree with the workers manners. Today, when my sister, my mom, and I went to Panera, we ordered, sat down, and waited. Now I understand that there were a lot of people today so they couldn't give our food right away, but my mother and I arent particularly patient people. Now I am not using this as an excuse, but as a reason why we asked the workers after 30 minutes of waiting. So my mother went up and asked, I do not know what she said to make one of the workers angry, but she did. I understand if my mother may have said it in a rude way, but by any means she didn't mean it in a rude way, but as a question. So when one of the workers came and brought us food, he dropped a piece of bread with sause on my pants. I am not complaining that he spilled something on me, but the way he acted. He did not apologize nor have any sympathy. What he did was mumble not even a sorry, but a I will give you another bread. I did not appreciate the rude way he acted towards me. If he had a problem with my mother, take it out on my mother, not me. I did not do anything to make him agrivated, so he had no right and act the way he did. In addition, when my mother went up and asked, that same worker asked my mom in a very rude and snappy way and asked if she wanted to eat the food or not. Workers should not act the way that man did to my mother and me. I advise Panera to look into workers manners when hiring people. Thank you. And I will not come back to this Panera after thr way...
Read moreWe arrived at 8:05 pm. The female working at the cash register didn't acknowledge our presence. They were visibly out of a ton of breads. I ordered a Pick 2 with a bacon avocado blt- no lettuce, and French onion soup. My mother got the Pick 2 with a turkey bravo and French onion soup. They were out of the bread that my blt is supposed to come with so I asked to have it made on a croissant. They were out of the baguettes that usually come with the soup so we could have an apple or chips. I need the bread for my soup... That's one of the main reasons I order the soup. Then.... It took 15 minutes for us to realize that they placed our order on the "pick ups" shelf. No one called our names, or said anything at all. We are not regulars... We would never have known had we not got up and walked toward the window to figure out what was going on. We were THE ONLY CUSTOMERS in the entire restaurant... Seriously. Wouldn't you think, if it's not a PICK UP ORDER and there are customers sitting in the restaurant looking toward where they ordered on frustration... You would try to figure out why. No. No one did. Several employees (even the one who took our order) walked by us. Then..... We get to the hotel with our order... My blt was on a whole grain bread (I have a medical condition that doesnt allow me to digest grains easily) so, luckily, I could switch bread with my mother and digest hers a little better. Also, our soups were cold (go figure) and the cheese was on the bottom of the bowl not even half-way melted. Disappointment...
