So first off I have to say I ordered this pizza on UberEats. It shows up as Chicago Deep Dish.
There was a promotion for garlic bread buy one get one free so that kinda drew me in and was absolutely well worth jt. Marinara sauce js fire.
Also though.... I ordered the Veggie Deluxe. It doesn't have a description on UberEats and if you type Chicago Deep Dish into Google you can guess what comes back.
So the the crust is amazing. 10/10. I added mushrooms. Sundried Toms, and the Meatballs I had added are super yummy and so are the tomato bits. Here's the thing. There's no other veggies. When you Daddys Pizza the Deluxe is tomato, Green and Black Olives, green peppers and onions.
Mine didn't even have the damn green onion.
....
The California hasSpinach, broccoli, zuchinni....none of those made it into the deluxe??? So bas enough I paid 24 for the pizza I paid 7 for topping and it's probably Uber Eats fault...but someone please fix this menu issue. Next time I'll just order...
Read moreI ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and requested it be made "extra spicy" but it was not spicy in the least. It wasn't entirely unflavorful but it was lacking, especially considering the price. It was the crunchiest spaghetti I've ever been served but I don't think that was because it was undercooked as much as parts seemed to be overcooked. There was plenty of gooey cheese on top, at least. It almost looks like the edges of the spaghetti dish just got left next to the stove/oven for too long and dried out the spaghetti noodles, I'm not sure if the spaghetti is supposed to be this crunchy or if this is just a mishap with my order, specifically? If it's late night and there's nothing else around then this is probably an OK choice but otherwise I'd go elsewhere. The seasoning you see in my photos is my own, yes, I bring my own seasoning with me...
Read moreOrdered several pizzas for delivery; can't say that any of them were particularly great. Not quite sure how this place has 4-stars.
Pepperoni was INCREDIBLY greasy. Margherita was bland and tasteless; tomatoes were diced and seemed like they may have been canned. SOM had so few toppings, it was embarrassing.
A chicken pizza (ordered with "BBQ chicken" as a topping with regular sauce) came drenched/drowning in BBQ sauce. The entire pizza base was 100% BBQ sauce. You might want to make it clearer when people are ordering something that would've normally been grilled chicken on top of a normal cheese/sauce pizza.
Adding insult to injury was the total cost (about $25/pizza) and the 20+ minute longer than communicated...
