Jamie at the front desk is a nightmare ... my husband is a trucker and I travel a lot for auditing ... hotels all the time ... I couldn't remember which address my husband said so I looked up the address for Tennessee Steel Haulers and from their found the correct Red Roof based on proximity them ... I called and asked to be connected to my husband’s room ... to be clear I did NOT ask for a room number, I do know about privacy based on all my hotel travel ... to which Jamie says "I need a room number" and I said "I don't have a room number thus me giving you his name" ... to which she said "It’s the law." ???? "What law is that?" I ask. "The law that I cannot connect you to a room without a room number". I guess Red Roof in thinks their guests are idiots and they can just make up laws and we will believe them? Can you imagine if I had decided to surprise him and came all the way to Nashville from NC expecting to spend the night and ride back in his new rig with him and cant because they won’t call him to the lobby ... based on a "law" apparently. So then I said "that's interesting because I called other Red Roofs and asked for him by name with no issues”. Now at some point I was expecting her to say "your right there is no law but this is our personal policy". Now I would not have liked that but I would have dealt with it and just talked to him tomorrow after he bought a new phone charger. NO. Instead this chick says to me "Well you can’t just call all over Nashville trying to track him down he obviously doesn't want you to know where he is. We can’t just g giving out information". WHAT??? FIRST, when did I say I called all over Nashville? SECOND, HOW WOULD I KNOW HE IS AT YOUR RED ROOF INN FOR TENNESSEE STEAL HAULERS IF HE DID NOT TELL ME? THIRD, where the hell do you get off saying stuff like that to begin with? I have to assume she was projecting her personal experience onto me. But I have to say, I don't blame her guy for ditching her she’s a liar and not very classy via this conversation. FOURTH, WE ARE MARRIED… exactly what information are you under the delusion I asked for? I HAVE EVERYTHING WE LIVE TOGETHER, FILE TAXES, PURCHASE CARS… there is not info you have that I do not except the room number which I NEVER ASKED FOR. At this point I had been lied too AND insulted. Great customer service Red Roof. I verified her name and informed her I would be calling her manager tomorrow ... although I think I will be contacting home office as well. I will also let Tennessee Steal Haulers know about their account with his hotel... as any truck driver will tell you the key to a good marriage is ability to stay in touch when you don't get to see each other often …sometimes weeks at a time... it is important they know how little Red Roof cares about...

The stay was for one night from 4/6-4/7. I called 2 weeks ahead of time and asked to book 2 adjoining rooms. I was advised they were busy that weekend and the staff would book the two rooms as close together as possible. I also advised staff that I have a friends and family Voucher for 40% off and I was instructed to present the voucher at check in to receive the discount. I understood and agreed to the booking.

We drive up from Houston and check in on 4/6 around 6pm or so. I was told by the gentlemen at the desk that my ONE room was ready. I explained that I booked two rooms as I was a female traveling with two male relatives. I was told there was nothing they could do about it as there was no vacancy in the hotel. (Exhausted from being on the road we decided, fine... we will make due with the one room). I present the voucher for 40% off and was told that they can accept it because “it’s a busy weekend”. There was no stipulation of this when I originally made the reservation. When I requested more information regarding this, I was told “there is nothing I can do, the Manager won’t allow it.”

So not only was our reservation shortened by a room. We also weren’t able to use the voucher (the entire reason we decided to book with Red Roof Inn). So I asked the gentlemen at the desk if we could receive some sort of compensation for the error/inconvenience. He advised all he could do was offer a 5% discount on the ONE room (which equated to roughly a $5 savings).

We go up to our room to find the bathroom was not properly cleaned. There was used soap and the soap wrapper in the shower. The towels had visible stains on them. When we checked at the desk to see if we could have more linen and towels we were told again, “it’s a busy weekend.” We never received new towels, no one ever addressed the dirty bathroom.

This is AWFUL customer service. While I didn’t expect to get the room comped for free, I did expect a bit more of a break given the error that was made in the reservation and the fact the discount I was told we could use was suddenly “not allowed” because “it’s a busy weekend”. And not to mention the condition of the bathroom and linens we were expected to...

First off I wish there was an option to give a negative star review as this place does not even deserve 1 star. I hope to save anyone from wasting their time, money and from a ruined vacation by preventing them from booking at this joke of a place. My husband and I stopped here for a night hoping to enjoy Nashville and upon checking in we went to a room that was filthy and to top it off it was also another guests room, yes they gave us keys and access to another guests room!! When we called down to the front desk to tell them the lady hung up on my husband so we just hauled all of our luggage back down and tried talking to her in person, she said oops sorry we have no other clean rooms or anything available and walked into the back and refused to talk to us, so we left. We have been making calls to Michelle the lady who answers the phone every time asking to speak to managment and she always gives some lame excuse. We told 3 weeks ago they would refund our money they charged us as we did not stay nor was there even a room available but still no refund as promised and today 4 weeks later and about 10 plus phone calls the wonderful Michelle not only got rude and changed her promise of refunding money within 7 to 10 days (which was 20 days ago) she said she might be able to give a 50% refund which is NOT acceptable to us but she got rude refused to put management on phone then hung up on us. Sad thing is I can get over the 107 dollars that was charged it's more a matter of the poor service, falsely charging us for a room when they had none available and the mountain of lies we have gotten over the last month of dealing with them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR EFFORT TO EVEN PULL INTO THEIR PARKING LOT LET ALONE PLAN ON STAYING HERE!!!!! TRASH BUSINESS AND TRASH SERVICE.... Its a shame Redroof Inn would even allow a place to tarnish their name like this place does. Go to a Motel 6 guaranteed to be more classy and better then this establishment.

P.S. Michelle you make an excellent liar and lack any customer service skills, it is a shame your kept as an employee and allowed to represent any...

I'm going to be so real, this was one of the grossest hotels we've stayed at. I'll give you the pros and cons... Pros: You cannot beat the price or location. That's why we chose it. 145$ a night, ten miles from the concert venue we were attending. Super close to downtown Nashville, and they offer a shuttle at times for 20$, if you need something like that. It is pet friendly as well. Cons: Ew. The room was so dirty. The headboard had handprints and "unknown" liquids on it. Mirror was covered in more unknown substances. Sheets were "clean", but stained. The toilet leaked and was broken, so it wouldn't flush. They reluctantly came in to fix it once, but we'd have to rig up the bowl to get it to flush after that... and eventually it simply wouldn't flush anymore. I loved that the hotel is pet friendly... but all I heard for hours was a dog barking. Thin walls I guess, but man. We asked for extra towels the first evening because there were only two in the room and without even looking up from his tv, the man at the desk said "There aren't any." And that was that. There were pills scattered throughout the room (I'm not kidding, I googled it, and they were diabetic medication). But how well do you clean the room if you miss that? The toilet paper rolls were not fresh... the floors musty and so many rusted areas. I felt so gross. We nearly slept in the car, ya'll. It was a smoke-free, but the hallway wreaked of smoke. It was a conjoined room (was not advertised as such) and the lock was broken, it could've easily been accessed from the other side. Even the tv speakers were busted and sounded terrible. The morning we left the floor was soaking wet, we sloshed to the front desk. I'm guessing a plumbing issue since our toilet problem was so bad. The photos in the advertisements are so misleading and false. I honestly tried to appreciate the closeness to the city and price... but it is too much for what you get. Very much slum motel vibes. I'm not sure how it's even open. If I could post videos, I'd show you the sloshing in the hallway.

**Review of Red Roof Inn Music City – Nashville, TN (2407 Brick Church Pike)** Our stay at the Red Roof Inn Music City left a lot to be desired. The room was extremely outdated, with dim lighting covered in rust, and the light switches were so worn out that one even broke when we turned it on. The furnishings looked old and way past their prime, giving the room a rundown feel. The bedding was stained and had a general sense of "grossness," making us uncomfortable and hesitant to use it without extra precautions. The bathroom was in poor condition as well, with multiple dings in the walls, all badly in need of plaster and repair. It gave off a neglected vibe, which unfortunately mirrored the overall state of the room. We ended up cleaning the room ourselves and opted to wear shoes the entire time. Despite the room’s disappointing condition, there were a few positives. The hotel’s exterior and parking lot were clean, and while we’ll see how the safety holds up overnight, it did seem reasonably secure. The lobby was basic but tidy, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, especially when we requested a room with easy access for a senior service dog. The hotel is pet-friendly, which is a plus, but given the state of the room, it’s not somewhere we’d want to stay for more than a night. If you’re just looking for a quick stop to sleep and hit the road, it might work. However, for comfort and cleanliness, you may want to consider other options.

Red Rood Inn CHECK THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!! Old, outdated, dirty, thin walls. This is close to a lot of biker bars and a sketchy part of town. Had people knock on our door at 2am. Paid 160 a night. I wouldn't stay here for 20 a night!! Ripped off. Hated to bring my daughter here. The shared door has a huge gap and the person next door caughted and hacked up flem all night. (I know that's not the hotel's fault but thin walls and a door with huge gaps on side and bottom makes it worse.) Safe is broken, blue paint on the wood floors (and nothing is painted blue??). Literally EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE is chipped up or outright broken. 2 of the 4 lamps in our room worked but had different color bulbs in them.. gave me a headache with one being an extreme white/blue (6000k led). Spend a little more somewhere else and get a LOT more.
