Good espresso and chocolate croissant. I came here 3 days in a row. I ordered the spicy mocha, golden milk, and orange winter spice lattes. The spicy mocha was very good, smooth, and the espresso was perfectly balanced. I wish I had ordered it again. The golden milk latte didn't contain espresso, which was not on the menu, so I had to ask for an add-on. It was very sweet, but again, the espresso was well balanced. The orange winter spice latte did not have any orange flavor and the espresso was bitter. I can understand that, because there were a lot of orders coming in for only one person to work that day, Sunday, and it's a cramped space. Therefore, the shot was probably pulled a little longer than intended as the girl was taking orders. There are some very inventive items on the menu, like the Smoked Rosemary, which they were out of, and the Eclipse latte, which contains activated charcoal. The girl named Laura said that it was good for a hangover to help flush out toxins from alcohol. If that's what you're into, go for it. As far as the atmosphere, I was sitting at one of the small tables and had to leave due to two people who sat down at the table next to me and began some inconsiderate conversation content that was offensive to my religion, but that doesn't reflect on the coffee shop's reputation at all. I did not expect to have to get up and leave after 30 minutes when I was comfortable for 2 hours the previous two mornings. Just don't expect a very quiet space to chill out on the weekend because the shop is small and it gets cramped. Expect to park across the street at the local park because spots next to the curb fill up fast and there is no parking lot. Also, the sign on the shop exterior is so dark that you can't see it from the road, and I had to drive around the block twice to find the entrance, as it is tucked away next to a vintage finds shop. I will definitely come back next time, hopefully with more tactful patrons there. I will sit on the back patio where I heard it is...

I drink my coffee black, and, having lived in Nashville for 5 years now, I’ve come to prefer a lighter roast (most indy coffee shops here keep a light roast on tap).
I’d never been to HQ before, so, I didn’t know what to expect. But, to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the coffee would be an understatement. It was obvious that the beans were of a very high quality, and expertly roasted. Furthermore, the coffee was freshly-brewed and plenty hot.
Headed out on a road trip to Memphis after a long day at work, I decided to forego the faster option of gas station coffee and go a little out of my way and search out a local independent coffee shop. Man, am I glad I did!
Best of luck to the owners. You’re doing a great job!

Moved back to Nashville, reconnected with childhood bestie & when we walk in - there’s photos of Makenzie from the fave coffeehouse back in the day - Cafe Coco ❤️🩹 It’s a really cute, tho incredibly tiny space & they use it well. Since the bathroom is past the tiny serving area, you’d have to dance a bit with customers in line if you’re the type who likes to wash up before hand. Tho like my fellow caffeine junkies in my previous music city life - folks here uncharacteristically two-step just fine 😉 The vibe is mellow, understated enhanced by the simple artwork, classic decor & photography. Their fare is pretty cool. We just had coffees but I’m excited to come back and...
