Left this store just twenty to twenty-five min ago. I purchased grapes and three cans of cat food. When I checked out the clerk working took my money and handed me my change. No prob. But then instead of handing me the receipt, she made a point to hand me my change, which was coins, but tossed (not even dropped it) my receipt in the bag. So as I reached out for the change I said, âthank you⊠and for the receiptâ. She abruptly looked up at me and responded, âyepâ.
Problem: Iâm sure this store has not and does not train employees to toss customers receipts in the bags. Unacceptable. Surely she didnât expect me to say anything about it. Additionally the major question is why she couldnât have simply handed me the receipt along with the change. They were both in the same hand from the time she got both from the register up until the point of handing the change to me, then she all of a sudden tossed it in the bag. Well, when itâs attempted to be justified, simply ask if she normally does this with customers, how many times today prior to me had she done it and will she continue making this a consistent notion from here on out. Maybe if mine or other customers hands are full I could see it, but even then, normally clerks, cashiers, etc⊠say âyour receipts in the bag or Iâm putting the receipt in the bag. Everyone is of age to know what theyâre doing and very aware of it. This had to be out of spite for whatever she was feeling because my change and receipt were in the same hand up until the point of handing to me. If this is you allâs customary method for handling this, please let me know and correct me. But I seriously doubt it. This employee made a point to do it.
Someone should correct her. This...
Read moreI used to really enjoy shopping here, but lately itâs been slipping. Every time I come in, things have been moved aroundâitâs disorienting and makes shopping more stressful than it needs to be.
Also, a lot of staples are often out of stock. Thereâs always something I canât find, and even the bag situation is inconsistent. They keep switching types, and today they didnât even have enough to double-bag my groceries. The staff member seemed annoyed when I asked, which didnât feel great.
The produce has also gone downhillâfruits and veggies often look a bit old or past their best.
Theyâve got a points system, but after six months of shopping here, Iâve yet to see a single reward from it. It honestly feels like the place is a bit mismanaged right now.
Lately, customer service has been hit or miss. There are still some really friendly team members, but Iâve also had a few interactions recently that felt pretty unfriendly and unhelpful.
Itâs a shame, because I want to love shopping here and support a local businessâbut the experience has become frustrating. Iâve visited the East Nashville location, and it felt noticeably more organized and well-run...
Read moreI appreciate that this place exists and I love that itâs always empty but there a few things that make it so that itâs just not worth it. The lack of selection, haphazard pickup packing, and high prices are together a deal-breaker. Almost everything is at least one or two dollars more expensive than at Whole Foods or Kroger and the selection is smaller. I love supporting small businesses and definitely queer-friendly ones - but I just canât afford to get so much less food for the same amount of money. Also, when I order online they throw all of my produce, raw meat, cans, and everything together completely randomly. This is a basic golden rule of groceries and itâs totally unprofessional. Lastly - their website is a mess! It has practically no information/description on most products and the photos are blurry. Also, the quantity situation is completely unacceptable. I pressed the plus + button 4 times for green peppers and 3 times for orange. I got 2 of each. So basically itâs whatever the shopper decides youâre...
