Las Fajitas — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

First off, it took us about 15 minutes to be seated in this nearly-empty restaurant. There was a large Birthday party off to one side, so I was a bit understanding, as there were two or three servers taking care of them. However, other than a handful of patrons at the bar, the place was otherwise empty. After being seated, it took another 15 minutes for anyone to even touch our table (yes, I timed it out of habit. It's something you subconsciously do when you've been in food...) After finally being asked for our drink orders by two different servers, it took another 10 minutes to get our beverages - a water with lime and a Coke. By this point, a few other guests had been seated around us. Another server flew to the section and immediately began taking care of the other guests who, were clearly regulars. This was evidenced by the friendly conversations had by all in rapid-fire, jovial Spanish. All the while, my wife and I sat completely ignored. Once we finally ordered our food and waited another 45 minutes for it to arrive, we dug in. My Carnitas were actually pretty good, and my wife's Quesadilla was more than a little tasty. However, as good as the food was, we were both disillusioned by the service. We paid and left, thinking, "Well, everyone has an off night, and the food WAS pretty good. Maybe we'll give them another shot down the road..." Well, the utterly abhorrent service aside, the final nail in the coffin came the following day. They decided to charge an ADDITIONAL $30.00 to my debit card!! My wife called and disputed the charge, and they offered to give us cash if we came by. As we were already frustrated with our experience the night before, we just said to put it back on the card, and the clearly confused person on the phone said they would. That was over a week ago, and we still haven't received the money they stole from us. Now, I have to go back to the restaurant to get my money back. It will be the last time I set foot in that shady restaurant - ever. If you enjoy having your money stolen by shady business practices - by all means, hit up...

I've driven past this place for awhile now. Today, it was suggested by a friend. The best thing for me was that the people who work there were friendly, the streetcorn and they have the softest toilet tissue in the restroom. We ordered chicken, cheese and rice. The meal lack seasoning. Like, non. There was very little queso but on top of the meal was mozzarella cheese that had been melted by what looks like a microwave. I had two drinks. One was a margarita that was more sweet than alcohol. And a pineapple juice with vodka. The waitress says she put two shots in the pineapple juice but it was straight pineapple. Honestly, once I noticed that a few other people bought straight shots to go with their drink. I figured they knew something I hadn't. Had I known, I would have just gotten shots. The food is over priced for what it taste like. I was charged for the flavoring of the margarita and something else. I don't know how long the restaurant has been there. But I've never not been that unsatisfied with my meal. I paid for everything and even left the 15% tip. Only because it was the suggested minimum. I'll never return. However, I always leave reviews. I hope they find their way in all of the millions of great eatery's in this area. I'm seeing all these great reviews I'd like to know what people ordered. Because...

Edited Review November 2021: We've decided to give this place a try again and remembered why we love it. We talked to one of the ladies that work there and we never had an issue again with several orders. We will continue to order here. They're delicious!

Original Review July 2021: I love this place. We have been coming here for years. The food is consistently good. However, they don't necessarily pay attention. Two days ago, I ordered a steak burrito. It had pork, beef, chicken and shrimp. I'm allergic to shrimp. Since I already had the food home, I just ate the beans. Today I ordered the same burrito, I asked for no lettuce, they also took out the rice and beans. I don't want to have to go back to buy rice and beans and I feel like I got shorted for what I paid for. We've eaten in numerous times but it seems like every time we order for pick up it's never right. Unfortunately, we won't be ordering from this...
