Lil Cee's — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Went to lil cees for the first time. Not bad! Ordered the fried pork chop dinner, which comes with two sides. I got sweet potatoes and Mac n cheese. They give you 2 fried pork chops, which are a nice size and delicious. They are not afraid of seasoning. Lol. They were meaty and juicy. The sides were ok. The sweet potatoes were good but were mashed. The mac n cheese was disappointing as it wasn’t the typical oven Mac n cheese but it was ok. The hot water cornbread was not good at all. It was hard and had no flavor. The dinner was pricey, at $14, but not outrageous. The kicker: they only take cash!!! Who even carry cash anymore??? If that wasn’t the case, I would’ve bought 3 meals. Good Food, Great Service. 13 dollars is a okay price for the quantity and quality food you get. The only problem I have is the area. It is in a bad area. I’m not saying it’s hard to get to. I’m saying that there is a lot of shady characters. People would follow you, stare at you. It was almost like i wasn’t welcome. But there was some that was nice and that was genuinely nice to talk too. One thing y’all need to do is to talk to your neighborhood drug dealers, they are not doing a good job at selling.
