Read moreHad literally the worst restaurant experience I've ever had at this Logan's
We've been here several times in the past and it's always been fine. Decent steak for decent prices, average service but the encounter we had last night was so bad it felt surreal.
So we get there about 20 minutes after 5 pm. It's very slow. Only a couple of tables occupied and two other people sitting at the bar. We decide to sit at the bar.
We sit down and approximately 30 seconds later this Tiger King reject looking bartender fires in there from the back and hastily says, "I'll be right with you." Okay, reasonable statement but 1 second later he barks at us, "GIVE ME A MINUTE!" Okay, less cool but we just shrugged it off and my wife started looking at a drink menu.
Then maybe 5 seconds later, while hunched over his computer and not looking at us, he goes, "YOU GONNA EAT?!" We didn't realize he was speaking to us because he already asked us to give him a minute which we were doing but before we realized he was talking to us, he very condescendingly and rudely gruffs out, "HELLLLOOOOOO?!" Like we were inconveniencing him now.
By this moment we realized that he was talking to us and my wife, half in shock, kind of nods and before I could respond, he says, "JUST SITTIN OVER THERE IN LA-LA LAND."
By this moment I am absolutely flabbergasted. I have NEVER had a server be so aggressive, rude or hateful. And all of this had transpired in a matter of about ten seconds. And again, he asked us to wait for him.
Well, I finally processed the question of "YOU GONNA EAT?!" and I responded firmly by saying, "No, I don't think we are and you have a real attitude problem. In fact, I need to speak to a manager right now." He never even turned to look at me, just staying on his computer terminal.
By this moment I saw there were two other employees trying to ask him something. They saw me. They knew I was upset. We made eye contact and I again said, "I need a manager please." They just stared at me like deer in headlights. Didn't acknowledge or move to even try to help me.
I throw my hands up and walk out. We get outside and I call the store from the parking lot because this cannot go unreported. I get the manager on duty. He is very friendly. He listens to my story and he is very upset that no one came to get him when I asked for his presence. He is extremely apologetic and thanks us for letting him know and asks if he can meet us in the parking lot. We agree. He brings us some free food vouchers but honestly I'm NEVER going back there.
We left just completely bewildered as to why that guy came after us like that. My words don't even do it justice. He wasn't just rude. He was purely hateful and he WANTED to pick a fight with two customers just for sitting down. I got bad vibes from this dude and they need to let him go because he is a liability to their business and honestly might hurt someone. He isn't just a bad bartended, he is hostile and...
Read moreI am beyond disappointed with my experience at Logan’s Roadhouse on 727 Thompson Ln in Nashville. If I could give zero stars, I would.
I ordered an 8oz steak, but when it arrived, it was noticeably smaller than the two my colleagues received. It was clear that I had been given a 6oz steak instead. Mistakes happen, and I understand that, but what happened next was absolutely unacceptable.
I politely brought this to the attention of the our waitress who got the manager, Joshua Bohan, who initially seemed willing to make it right. He asked if he could cook me a new one, and I agreed. I assumed that meant I would receive a freshly prepared steak, as any reputable restaurant would do in this situation. Instead, a few minutes later, our sweet waitress (I believe her name was Bobbie) returned with what was supposed to be my “new” steak. To my shock, it was the same steak—just run through the broiler again, now more overcooked and dried out.
When I asked Joshua about it, he had the audacity to claim that he “tried” to cook me a new one. How do you try to cook someone a new steak? Either you do or you don’t. This was nothing more than an attempt to pass off a lazy, dishonest shortcut as customer service. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable—just to receive the steak I actually ordered.
At this point, I was completely disgusted—not only by the lack of effort to fix a simple mistake but also by the blatant dishonesty from management. I wasn’t even asking for a free meal or a major discount. All I asked was to be charged for the 6oz steak instead of the 8oz—a mere $2 difference. Yet, instead of doing the right thing, Joshua decided to be dismissive and deceptive.
I want to be very clear that this was not the waitress’s fault. Bobbie was kind and professional, and I appreciate her efforts. But the management at this location is an absolute disgrace.
This experience was a prime example of how not to handle customer service. If this is how they treat guests over something as basic as a steak order, I can only imagine how they handle bigger issues. Logan’s Roadhouse has lost my business, and I will be sure to warn others...
