Panini Bread Café — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Stopped in here while traveling for a quick and healthy-ish bite to eat. I was not prepared for how great the food was, how friendly the staff was, how good their cranberry pecan bread was. I was blown away by this little, unassuming cafe, right off the highway. I had a fantastic chicken, bacon, avocado sandwich on jalapeño cheddar bread. It was outstanding. My wife loved her sandwich as well! She picked out a loaf of bread to take home. It was a big loaf and we thought it was too much for us. Nope! It was so good we got through it in a couple of days, much to our amazement. The kids loved it, it was great on thanksgiving leftovers (turkey sandwich on the cranberry pecan toast). I am totally and completely in love with this place! Happened to order food from them one day when I didn't want to leave the house and that was the best decision I ever made. They make everything fresh in store and I've loved everything I've had from them! My favorite sandwich is the Philly Cheese Steak on sourdough bread! It's absolutely amazing! The best part of this place though is their deserts! Their cheesecake brownies are phenomenal! Off menu they have a poppy seed roll with a cream cheese sort of cream! It will blow your mind! My recommendation is always to call them and see what's available as some things aren't on the menu from here! But you can't go wrong choosing this place! This is the best sandwich shop in Donelson. The sandwiches are every bit as delicious as another well-known nearby spot that was featured on a TV show, but the wait time is much shorter. Paintings on the walls as well as several comfortable seating areas and arrangements contribute to a cozy cafe feel. Their coffee and baked goods are as excellent as their sandwiches. They have some space set aside for music performance, but I haven't seen it used yet. I hope to in the future.
