1 star because it would not allow me to give 0 or negative. We were in Nashville over this last weekend for the Eclipse. Unfortunately by the time we booked this was all that was available and I sadly did not see any reviews. This is hands down the worst place I have ever stayed at. Two younger guys behind the counter checked me in, they advised that I had 10 minutes to get a refund (red flag 1), then ushered me out. While walking down to my room I noticed a lot of doors didn't have room numbers, then I get to my door which had my room number written in black permanent marker. We look past this and head in to the room. The door to the actual hotel room didn't shut all the way, we had to move the dresser in front of the door while we slept, the dresser was missing drawers, the phone (that we found an hour later under the night stand) didn't work, the microwave looked as though someone jumped from the sink on top of it and elbowed it, the tv was old and bulky which personally was the least problematic thing, the remote had not back and was held together by masking tape and god knows who's hair ties, the bed spreads were both ripped in multiple locations, the bed on the left the box spring was too big for the mattress and the bed on the right the box spring was too small, never mind how dirty they were. The bathroom was a disaster, the shower head was hanging loosely from the wall, the vent was hanging on the wall, the curtain did not shut all the way, there were burn marks all along the tub itself as if someone decided to take a bath and rest their cigarettes on the tub ledge. Within maybe 18 minutes I was back in the office to asked them if they were aware of the state of the room. He seriously looked at me like I was the crazy one. When I again listed all the things above and said that is not normal he shrugged his shoulders and said we rent that to smokers. I never asked for a smoking room and told him I did not need a smoking room when I checked in. What are they smoking? None of this seemed to bother him in the least or even concern him the state of his property. He was confused by my disgust with the room. Oh and I haven't even touched base on the 'neighbors' who first asked if we were 'working' then asked if we would like to 'work' then proceeded to ask the gentleman we were with if they could 'have' us. Really? Or the fact that the guy circled our car when we got out on his hover board, checking out what we had. Upon returning to the hotel the first night our 'neighbor' was kind enough to offer our friend some drugs... very hospitable but no thank you. The next morning was the last straw, while getting out of the shower we found a needle and syringe on top of the bathroom door. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. when we took this up to the front desk he looked blankly at my friend and told him to throw it in the garbage! Uh yeah, you should probably properly dispose of needles so no one gets poked with it. It was left wrapped in the wash cloth with the guy behind the desk. I called 12 hotels at this point trying to get a new room, much to my dismay EVERYTHING was booked from the eclipse so I went up to the front desk and told him I needed a new room. First I was told nothing was clean, when i mentioned the needle, state of the room and our 'neighbors' as well as I wasn't taking no he quickly provided me a new room. We moved to a new room where the door would unlock but the actual metal piece on the door was broken so it would catch any time you wanted to open from the outside. We literally had to shoulder check our door to get this open. This did not concern the hotel staff. We were not provided any towels in the second room, when we asked for them on day two in the hotel we were told they didn't have any, try back around 1. WE HAD TO GO BUY TOWELS to take a shower. We had to stay the remaining two nights as NO WHERE had openings. I was desperate and you will be too if you stay here. The hotel says they offer free wifi but we never got on their wifi and yes we tried,...
Read moreAvoid this hotel. The only good thing I can say is beds were comfortable and air was cold. Bathroom- Bedbugs in bathroom. Shower curtain rod hanging by a thread so most of the water went in the floor. Big cracks between the tub and floor. Door would not close all the way. Tub was nasty. Wanted a hot bath but no way. The water was hot. Beds comfortable but no blanket. Very thin comforter. Luckily we had our blankets in the car. No coffee in the room or lobby. Big crack between the main door so you could see outside. Analog TV. No cable. Got up this morning and itching like crazy. Didn't see any bug bites. $90 a night. We were desperate is the only reason we stayed here. Not enough money to stay anywhere else. Didn't want to sleep in the car but please don't stay here. Told me over the phone it was 80 but when I checked in it was 90. No lamps at all in the room. One light hanging on the wall by the main door. Not allowed to get a refund. Missing drawer from the dresser. Ok so this was the first room and night we stayed. We were in room 109. It was pretty bad. The next night he put us in another room which is not bad. Have not seen any roaches. Everything works. AC is very cold. Water is hot but not as hot as I would like. Light over sink didn't work but when we told them they fixed it. We have been here in the same room for 4 nights. The deadbolt didn't work but son fixed it. It could be worse. At least we got a roof over our head and beds are comfortable. Price not bad. We brought our blankets none on the bed but my son is hot natured and I freeze. If you can afford something else then I would say go for it but we can't. They also don't allow pets not even with a deposit. We were told if they found a pet in our room we would be asked to leave and we wouldn't get our money back. Our little dog is 20 lbs. 13 years old and all he does is sleep. So we stayed in the room and made our dog a bed in the car and made sure he had food and water and proper ventilation. We drove off the property so he could use the bathroom. Roach motel that doesn't allow pets. Don't understand at all. Went to get ice and manager told me I could not get ice everyday if I did he would have to start...
Read moreThis entire hotel needs to be shut down. There are so many blatant health code violations, and there is not a SINGLE redeeming quality about this place. When we checked in, found out that if you book online, they'll cancel your reservation and charge you anyway if you show up after 9pm, were charged a $50 CASH ONLY deposit that there had been no warning for, and the man at the desk wouldn't give us a receipt. Decided to go to the room since we were getting charged anyway and couldn't find anything in that price range last minute. We got into our room and immediately our noses were hit with a mixture of stale cigarette smoke and mildew. The walls and ceilings are COVERED in black mold and insect guts from previous people attempting to wipe out the roach population with their shoes. I'm estimating there were roughly as many roaches in our room as there are people in Nashville based on the fact I killed approximately 30 of them within 10 minutes of walking in. And let's not forget the fact the beds we hadn't even sat on, much less slept in had excessive amounts of hair on the pillows and in the sheets that had clearly not been washed from previous people staying. Needless to say, we ended up leaving and sleeping in our car instead because we refused to stay in those conditions with our toddler. But the best part? After going back to the front desk and telling them we needed a refund BECAUSE of how disgusting the room was (and the man trying to get us to mail in a form and they'd mail a refund? Yeah, not doing that, we'll just contact our bank, especially since we needed the refund to afford a different place), the front desk clerk came to the room to get the key while we were packing up and had the audacity of trying to get us to make the beds before we left. Do NOT give this place your money, they need to to out of business and the...
