I ordered a Philly cheese steak and medium fry online for the Bellevue location. My order was $17 but when checking out it never gave me comformation but charged my card. I have a screenshot from my bank proving that the order was submitted to the Bellevue location and my account was charged.
When I came to the location to pick up my order I was told that they never received it. Despite showing proof that I was charged they told me there was nothing they could do. I unfortunately left my debit card at home today, and used the last $20 I had on my chime account for this order so at this moment I have no alternative form of payment.
I was told that there wasn't anything they could do and I had to leave the store hungry with no other option to order anything else from anywhere else. Over $17 I have PROOF was taken from my account by this location.
I have worked in food service my whole life and not once have I EVER let a customer leave hungry when it was clearly an error on the businesses end. I can't believe any restaurant would treat their customers this way.
I will not be returning here which is a shame because I love Penn Station but that was beyond embarrassing and absolutely unnecessary considering the error was on their end and not mine. I'm livid that the rest of my work day I will have to spend starving because a store can't correct their mistake.
Also I'll add that I work over an hour and a half from my home so going home to retrieve my card was not an option. Absolutely ridiculous.
I'll happily delete this review if the problem is resolved but considering how I was just treated I don't have much hope of...
Read moreI must say....I’m not typically a person that enjoys subs. It’s usually too much bread for me to eat and I have a small mouth, which makes them hard to eat. I was craving a good Italian sub and had heard great things about the place to I decided to try it. I LOVED it! I ordered an 8” Hot Italian and a small fry AND my friend had the Philly cheesesteak. The Italian sub had the most delicious seasoning blend on it and the fries were hand cut and freshly fried. My friends Philly was loaded with melted cheese and he said it was the best he has ever had. When it was ready it was delivered to my table. After it was delivered someone stopped by with a cookie for me to sample. It was a whole mini chocolate chip cookie, what??!!! Heck yeah! My Italian sandwich had the perfect amount of bread. It was not too much and easy for me to eat. It was also hot and soooo yummy 😋. The fries were also delicious and the small fry seemed like a lot so be cautious to order larger sizes if you’re not super hungry. I was only able to eat half of my sandwich and fries, and my whole cookie. The cookie was delish too! . I took the rest of my Italian home and reheated it in the toaster oven yesterday for lunch. It was just as delicious on day two! Penn Station for the win!!!! I will definitely be back and if you’re looking for a new good sub you definitely want to check this place out!!! I’m sure it will be a NEW favorite.
Ps...The service was also super friendly....
Read moreMy wife and I have eaten at several penn stations subs before and when we saw that there was one across the street from our hotel we were thrilled. Unfortunately our visit was plagued from the start. First the cashier after finishing a phone order told us it was her time to go home and her replacement was in the bathroom and would be out soon. When he did get to the register He was texting and asked us to hold on just one second. He also reeked of marijuana as did the men's room I found out when I went to wash up. We received our food quicker than we expected an my chicken parm was on white instead of multigrain despite the receipt saying. Multigrain. And was a small instead of the regular I ordered. My. Wife's blt was the issue as it contained some of the worst tomatoes ever And only 1, yes that right one, piece of bacon. I know you can't expect much these days but it called a Blt not a mayo lettuce tomato bacon. I don't know how much the spec sheet calls for but its not that. Oh and I found where my multigrain bread was, yup that's what her sub which was suppose to be white said. I understand good helps hard to find I manage a local restaurant myself, but I'm mind blown by this experience and after 15 plus years in restaurant industry...
