I placed an order through Google Maps, which the initial payment was through Postmates. I ordered a combo which should come with a drink, side, and sandwich. Now I initially ordered the wrong sandwich. I just wanted a chicken sandwich. When I got in there I asked about my drink, and the guy said to me, that there was no drink. I said I ordered the combo for $9.83. I said okay, and just left. So I made it home, I had beef on the sandwich. I contacted the restaurant, and I told them that I had the wrong order. Told them the order they said it’s not wrong. That’s correct. I meant to order a chicken sanwinch combo with rice.
So I made it there, and I asked about me not having a drink. The guy working there said that the prices online are different from in the store. I kept saying that I ordered online, and the prices online should be honored. He said I couldn’t get my drink because I didn’t pay for it in the store. I paid for it online and it’s cheaper. So then he pulls out a cup, and hands it to me like he’s doing me a favor. As if I hadn’t paid for the drink initially. So I said I want a refund, and he said he can’t give me a refund only postmates. I don’t have a postmates account. I ordered through google, but the restaurant has there online payments set up through postmates. So I called postmates told them what was going on. The CSR told me that the restaurant has to give me a refund. And the restaurant can call postmates so they can walk them through the refund.
So I went back inside the restaurant; told this to the guy at the register, and he had an attitude. Threw his hands up, saying oh well don’t worry about it, I’ll give you a refund. How much was it? Gave me my refund, and before handing me my money. Read moreI never write reviews but I was so utterly blown away by the unbelievable amount of disrespect we were treated with, and the manner in which (the manager) dealt with a mistake with our order, I just had to make it known. Please also know, that our circumstances in no way deserved any special treatment whatsoever. My husband went down there and ordered 2 -gyros with several toppings and sauce. When he got home, we found that his had plenty of sauce and mine was completely dry. The toppings were right, but no sauce. Well he made a phone call up there to make this known and he was told to bring the gyro back and they'd put sauce on it. I was a little upset and called back (considering that he is in a wheelchair 50% of the time..and before you hate me, he is supposed to exercise and walk daily pushing his chair..so he enjoys rolling and walking to the store and back sometimes) so I asked to speak with the manager and he 1st told me I was wrong..they made them right and I again told him how dry mine was and also reminded him my husband in a wheelchair & wasn't walking back down there so we could bring back the gyro to put sauce on it! Read moreWent there just the other night. Not only was the food great but the staff was even greater. Very kind and friendly. The service was above and beyond what you would expect and/or normally get from a chain. But the cherry on top was at the end. We got there about 8:30 or so, 15 minutes before they closed. We had our dog with us so after ordering we went outside and sat down and ate so the dog didn't have to stay in the car. At 8:45 one of the gentlemen working that night stepped out and asked if there was anything else we needed or anything he could do for us before they closed up. Unbelievable. If i was in his position i would've been thankful the customers were outside and i would've locked up and gone home without a second thought, and I'm sure most other employees at other places would too. But despite the fact they were closed they still decided to step outside at the risk of possibly inviting more work and delaying their heading home for the evening just to make sure we were all set and we didn't miss out on anything else we might want.
