The food is AMAZING! I would give more than five stars for the food alone. We had somas ($3 each - they don't say how many are in an order on the menu - the answer right now is 2 - small for the price but GREAT TASTE). Our table also had: Channa Masala (chickpeas), veggie curry and shrimp curry. The Parotta was mouthwatering! (Aka I wanted to steal my husbands good!)

You walk in and there's a hazy of incense burning. The smell was really good, it made it seem like you didn't have clean glasses on, but it with the decor made it seem like you were somewhere new!

The ordering is HORRIBLE. First, you have to use your cell phone (which I did not bring because I wanted to talk to the people at my table). The other person had an iPhone, and the menu did not show up on their phone. (FYI the links on the top of the menu didn't work on the android phone..so you had to scoll). We had to all order on my husband's phone, except the signal was so poor in the restaurant that he had to LEAVE the restaurant to place the order. So, if we wanted to pick up the check to take someone out for their birthday, I see that being a problem. There's a $0.99 "fee" to place an order. (They can get $0.99 per person when each person orders their own food on their own device.) Because of the order problems, I think the owner should look at letting guests choose which way they want to order. If we would have had traditional service, my husband would have had another beer, and we may have ordered dessert. (AKA there is a loss of potential sales for the owner).

Friday night they had singers as well! (I think they do a lot nights based on the website)

Spoiler alert: They have a robot cat server who is really cute and neat!

Will I be back? ABSOLUTELY? The food is great! I am not sure about bringing someone for their birthday meal because I don't see an easy way to pick up the whole check. I will not be able to bring parents or grandparents because the technology needed to order is WAY outside their...

My overall 5 stars is for how amazing the food is that I have got and was what I ordered the past 2 weeks. I can say the only downside is the service. No bad attitudes or anything just miscommunication and easily getting distracted. ANYWAYS This review is mainly about my to-go order. Had to pay 40 dollars for a 17 dollar item I thought I was getting and unfortunately didn't even get the item I ordered. I order the Kothu Parotta, the guy on the phone even repeated it back to me, we had a confusing first conversation off the bat about another item but I told him to forget about it, it was genuinely just me asking a question about it and ordered what I truly wanted which was the Kothu Parotta and which was the last thing he confirmed to me before giving me a timeframe and hanging up. My boyfriend picked it up and paid for it for me. I sent him the money and he told me after he paid that it wasnt enough but he covered me. I was confused but I assumed it was tax I forgot or something. Either way he came home with a big bag and I was even more confused. Opened it and found 2 completely different dishes I didn't order and then he proceeded to tell me it was 40 dollars of food and why I was so hungry lol. Anyways, the food received was ok, not what I was wanting so I couldn't enjoy it to the fullest. I was just hungry so I ate one of the items but the other was oddly bitter so I didn't touch it. So I'm just wondering where the miscommunication was. Either way, I do want to eventually try what I originally ordered but it seems I got 2 different chicken...

So I have been living in Bellevue area for the past 3 years and have been to this restaurant to dine in around 5/7 times and ordered takeout number of times since this restaurant opened here around/after the pandemic. Last night (1/20), I really had a bad experience and I will never visit this restaurant ever again . I was there with couple of my other friends. I ordered my food through the app as this is what they allow. They got all the appetizers but not my drinks. I waited for like 10 more minutes and then I asked the manager/owner who was passing by my table and he responded in a very very rude way which my friends noticed too and I felt he was insinuating that they already served my drink and started asking my friend's name since he had ordered the same beer. This I felt was very weird, if you can't handle the orders from the app, please have a person noting them since anyways they charge the tip on the app even before serving the food. He then got my beer and asked for my ID. I have been to this restaurant multiple times and since the time they didn't have any beer and we had to get our own from a liquor store nearby, he never asked for my ID. And the fact that I had already started eating my food, getting my ID from wallet was a hassle. This behavior of him was very personal for some reason is what I feel. If you can't respect your customers, please don't pretend to do so. Despite the fact that the food is good here, I will never visit/order food from this...

What a delicious meal! Also had a great conversation with the owner and learned more about their regional Indian dishes, weekly live entertainment, and the special buffet dinner offerings that occur on certain nights. So glad we finally dined here, and we got a kick watching their robot server and the reactions from the kiddos at the other tables.

Takeout: thanks to #GoogleFood, the ordering is simple, easy to navigate, and responsive. Feedback for completed order comes immediately, and text notifications give links to directions and other helpful info with projected pickup time. Additional text tells you when order is ready. What can’t they all be this good?? 5-stars. Food: 4-stars for me. Very good quality, and not dumbed-down, Americanized flavors. With that, I’m sure this is highly dependent on regional taste preferences, but I would choose less Green Bell pepper in most of the dishes. But again, I’m an American and this may be spot-on to the regional preference of cooks and owners. Hospitality/Service: 6-stars!! I despise Americans who don’t make allowances for the unique mannerisms and customs of cultures. Just because it isn’t “Haaaay Y’all!!” and “Sweet Tea!!” doesn’t make someone “rude”. Other cultures have norms in how they relate to each other, and I’ve learned this all over the world- each have their own style and pace. The owners and staff I’ve encountered both dining in and taking out have been beyond friendly and genuinely eager to please. Be open to learning something new, be slower to judge, and eat more Indian food, y’all!!
