Alley Pub — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Don't know why someone would claim this bar is a "gay bar". It's an awesome bar with awesome people of all walks of life. Just like Bellevue its a great mix. Might see a Titan, a politician, millionaire, happy gay couple, or even a pissed off straight couple. The most important thing is everyone in the Alley Pub is there for good food drinks and a good time. You can get a cold beer anywhere, but good luck finding Juan Wings anywhere but the Alley Pub. The burgers are great and the french dip is perfect. My only issue is the size of some meals. Some are huge and filling but others like the french dip are tiny. It's mostly just the sandwiches that run a bit small. The burgers are huge. But I do have to call them out on their 2 for 1 beers. Any other time you go you get a beer it comes in a chilled tall glass but when it's 2 for 1's you get them in tiny plastic cups. I never tested this but my theory is it takes 2 of those small plastic cups to fill a tall chilled glass. And if that is not the case then why even change how the beer is given? And I just realized it's Smokin' Monday so I'm gonna go grab some smoked BBQ and catfish. ...

I went to see The Kentucky Lineman play on a Friday night. I never expected the place to be so packed but after my night there, I understood why. Not only was the music great, so was the food and the service. I went back to see The Kentucky Lineman again on a Friday night a month later (I live almost an hour away or I would visit more often) and the server remembered me and she even remembered my order from the time before. I WAS IMPRESSED!!! The only draw back for me is that they allow smoking inside. I know that's a good thing for smokers but it's not so great for the non smokers however, it was somehow ventilated so that it didn't cause me much distress at all. I plan to make many more...

Lisa Marie, Ashley, and Matt (all behind the bar) were wonderful! Super helpful and welcoming! Had a drink while waiting for my togo food and Lisa Marie offered suggestions that I would not have thought of- I went with it and I am so glad that I did! Went home with the supreme pizza (added mushrooms) and an order of onion rings. Not only worth the price, but the flavor was amazing! Being Italian and ordering pizza from a new place can be very scary. But it was nothing shoer of everything I wanted and more! From great service to amazing food- even Togo!- I would recommend this place again and again. Been in the industry 16 years and I will always give credit where credit is due. Thanks! And see...
