Tacos y Mariscos Los Carnales inc. — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

We decided to try this place as we saw it when taking a detour the other day and wanted to see what it was about. It’s very clean and the server was nice but the food was mid.

We ordered something simple, mulitas, they barely had cheese on them so it was just two cold tortillas with a sprinkling of cheese and over cooked carne asada. (We ordered 4 mulitas between us 2 and all four were cold, the al pastor was okay per the person I went with.)

The bill came up with two different amounts, one amount when they brought it out and another as I went to pay. Not sure what the extra came from but I paid any way since it wasn’t a huge amount extra, but I do think they should tell you if any extra amount will be added for x- reason.

I’m really sad because I really wanted to like it, as I love supporting small...

I had the pleasure of enjoying my first four tacos from Los Carnales today. I ordered the Birria, Carnita, Asada and Pollo. The tortillas were incredible, hot, fresh and flavorful. Everything was cooked to perfection. The spiciness was on point. The juices were juicy (but not too juicy). The cilantro was lovely. The supplemental sauces offered unexpected side quests during my culinary journey.

Note that I gave "Atmosphere" no stars because there is no atmosphere. Only tacos....

We live right around the corner and some how had never been. Well. These are 10/10. It’s a no frills kinda place that’s all about the food. and yes they don’t really speak much English but it is 2024 and we all have smart phones, this is no longer a barrier. These stack right up with those we had across cdmx and Mexico. And extremely under priced. I actually think they should increase prices! The shrimp and fried fish tacos were incredible. Pastor, pollo, asada etc were all up there with some of the best Nolensville pile has to offer. Def...
