Thai Samurai Bellevue — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Ever since they switched from Lemongrass, the quality and the service have been abysmal. My husband and I ordered online for pickup and spent nearly $100. We got the food home and one of our sushi rolls was made with shrimp instead of salmon. I have a shellfish allergy and thankfully always check my sushi before eating. We called the restaurant and asked if it was supposed to have shrimp because it’s not listed in the description online. My husband ended up going back to the restaurant to get them to remake it (it was a $15 roll, so we didn’t want to waste the money) and they made a tray that was half the roll I originally ordered and half of some random roll that had crab in it, which I cannot eat. The quality of the sushi has drastically fallen since they changed names and ownership. What was once one of our favorite sushi spots will now, unfortunately, be somewhere we will likely never...

So sad that Lemongrass was either bought out or changed management. Thai Samurai is overpriced and food is just so so. Two of us ordered the Tonkatsu ramen priced at $18.00 per bowl, which would be fine if the portions were balanced! 1/2 a not very good soy spiced egg, 1 piece of very dry thin pork belly. It was about 2 inches in circumference. Bamboo shoots and 2 slices of flavorless what I was told was fish cake. The broth was too salty. My daughter ordered sashimi and it was $8.50 a piece! No sushi rice on the side or under the 3 slices. There were 6 of us but we did not pay on one receipt because we were 2 separate households. They put the 18% tip on both receipts stating large capacity. The only good thing was the waitstaff who was obviously overworked. However, only 3 tables with guests. My wife and I love Thai food. We went to check out this amazing combination between a Thai and a Japanese restaurant and they were absolutely delicious! I ordered the chicken pad Thai and my wife got the Panang curry. 🍛 Let me tell you something! The food was absolute spot on exactly how I wanted it. It had the full flavor and the texture was perfect! It’s really rare to find a place that really I love the taste 100% of the time. We also ordered some Thai tea and it was really good.
