How you treat people reflects on your business... I have to preface this review with I have not stayed at the hotel. I am in Nashville for a funeral. I arrived early. My rental car wasn't ready. Also my phone did not charge the night before. So I decide to come early to my mother's house. I caught the bus to the corner of white bridge and Charlotte pk. I walked to this hotel and asked if they could call a cab for me. They said no. I asked for their address. They pointed at the business card. At 1st I stepped outside to use my dying phone to call a cab. The street noise was excessive. The weather was windy and rainy. So I stepped back inside to complete the call. As I performed my call, the lobby person stepped around the counter to follow me to insure that I didn't steal anything. As i noticed, his movement to block me. I stepped between the automated doors. I noticed my phone percentage dropped from 11 to 5. I asked the lobby person if they had a outlet that I could charge my phone. At this point I was asked if I was a guest. I said no. He told me that I had to leave. So I did. My point in writing this review is this. If you avoid my skin's complexion I am a woman who walked into the hotel in dress casual clothing in need of a bit of help. I was made to feel like I was a criminal asking too much. All of that time of me making simple requests that were denied and them making me uncomfortable, I could have been a guest. As it is I am a guest at the sonesta suites near the airport because it has a shuttle. I could have just as easily spent the same money to stay at the Best Western Plus Belle Meade because it is closer to my mother who lives on Robertson ave. Now I will never be your guest. Long story short there are way too many hotels in the area for you to treat any person like they don't belong....
Read moreMy wife and I travel quite a bit and appreciate the perks and benefits of staying with the same chain of hotels due to the points accumulation as well as the expected standard. We like Best Western because the points continue to accumulate and don't expire like many other chains. Additionally, the quality of the stay is consistently great and they're everywhere around the country. On our stay in Nashville however, we had less than a desirable stay. The price was much too high and the room we were put in was a handicap room which was not only inconvenient, it smelled like urine and was uncomfortable. There were other options but perhaps we were the easy prey to to dump it on. The water pressure was low and even the shower was a real trick to operate. The room was definitely substandard, especially for the price we paid for it. It was a one night stay, just the two of us, not in the best part of town and yet it was the most expensive stay I have ever payed at a Best Western. Obviously a franchise because it was all family working the counter and running the show. Being a loyal Best Western member, I will continue to stay at their chain throughout the country but you best bet I will be asking more questions and inspecting rooms prior to forking out the money from now on. If quality control had inspected this room prior to us taking possession, it would...
Read moreI stayed here for one night in June 2019. I am a senior citizen and a tourist, visiting Nashville for the second time. This is a very good hotel, just a 15 minute drive from downtown, with a Walgreens and a Waffle House next door. However, the downside is that the price is high: about $150 for a room. At this hotel the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel appears to be new. It is clean and brightly lit. The room was very nice and larger than average, with a sofa occupying a separate section of the room. Bathroom was good. Amenities in the room were excellent -- coffee, microwave and fridge. Good TV. The breakfast was also good. The food was a bit better than average, the eating room was attractive but a bit crowded, and the staff was helpful. The outdoor pool looked very nice, but we did not use it. There is no hot tub. I enjoyed my stay here very much, and the reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the high price. I paid about $150 for a room with 2 queen beds. This is $30 or $40 more than I would expect to pay at a hotel of this type. I stayed here on a Wed. night during the CMA Country Music Festival, taking place in downtown Nashville, and it seems that all hotel rooms in Nashville were extra expensive that week, but I cannot say for sure. I don't feel that I got good value at this hotel, due to...
