Can't leave a blank rating, that's why one star. Otherwise, I would've left it blank. Never know whether they're open or closed. At 6:30 pm today, 17 JAN 25, they already had the doors locked, display cases empty. This isn't new or unusual. They routinely close at whatever time they feel like closing. I'm certain they're unsupervised. If there's a manager, they're not managing or they're absent. I knocked on the door, trying to make sure they weren't in the back, being robbed, one individual with headphones on and a broom walks across the room, out of a blindspot, clueless. One individual 'working' drive-thru looks up and starts laughing, then yells "Drive-thru!" "We closed!" So, are they open or closed? The sign on the door indicates the Lobby is open until 8:00 pm. I point that out. "Drive-thru!" This is the last time I stop there. Whoever owns the Dunkin in Nashville, NC needs their head examined. The employees don't want to work, their faces say it all. They look at customers with either disdain (like they're upset you showed up to buy something) or amusement (like customers are entertainment). Clean out the whole crew, including your manager (if they won't do their job). Here's a sales tip...People buy more of what they can see. Donuts and the like, in a display case get sales by the dozens. Drive-thru might only get a donut or two, because the customer can't see what's available. If you have to sit in a drive-thru lane for 15 to 20 minutes (I have at this store) because customers have to play a game of 20 questions to figure out what they have or don't have, you're not going to be inclined to buy anything other than a drink. I'm willing to bet they throw a lot of product out after closing, because of this game they're playing. This is the worst Dunkin' I've been to. Corporate would be better off cancelling this franchisee to exercise some damage control to the brand. No one in our family will go there, ever again. Someone else mentioned this, I'll go to the one on 301 in Rocky Mount. They have their act together. The employees are friendly, helpful and they're not staring at the clock, cutting corners to get out sooner. Nor are they wrapped up in a passive aggressive game, antagonizing the paying customer. Owners: Good flippin' luck!!
Update: Everyone I've spoken to about this says the same. "We were happy to get a DD in Nashville, but..." Service is horrible, employees are very unhappy to be working there, schedule is unreliable, supply is unreliable... Dunkin', this store, under current ownership/management, is a liability to the brand! A marketing tip: Model your sales presentation and service training standards after Chick-fil-A! Boot...
Read moreToday I placed in a medium frozen caramel coffee order in by the app at this location and it was so icy and the consistency was not creamy what so ever. As a former employee from this exact location I believe something also might have been expired between the coffee syrup and the creamer that goes in with the frozen drink in order to make it. It was nasty and it tasted spoiled, I’m trying to give this place a chance since they have new employees but it’s obvious that someone ain’t doing something right or someone ain’t teaching the some of the current employees right that’s new to the coffee in general (the ones who don’t already have experience from working at other coffee places). Then on top of that they’re for ever under staffed (It was like that when I was there too which caused me a lot of unnecessary stress) unfortunately. Needless to say I went right to the location on 301 right after and they made it the correct way (there was absolutely no wait time when I showed up there). Not trying to bash the place and their current employees but they can do better especially that mid and closing shift that works. Cause I’ve never had a frozen drink nor have made frozen coffee for myself and others (when I was employed there and serving customers) that tasted spoiled and that was very icy. Then on top of that they’re were slow and I was in the drive thru for almost 10 minutes stuck behind 2 cars and the person behind me got their stuff and left before I did and the car infront of me (as their stuff was handed out the first window). Which is totally unfair to those of us that has to wait that was in line before them as things get handed out the second window always…to the rest of us that’s like a slap in the face. Then I had to wait like another 4 minutes at the 2nd window and the drink was the only thing I ordered from the app. I would love to see an improvement from this location someday if it makes...
Read moreWent there once, was not impressed. They need new management, and I don't mean the general manager. I mean even higher than them. There is no communication, they do what they want when they want, they aren't there for the customer, no warm greetings or smiles more like stares and glares as if they are annoyed with us walking in. I can't blame them really because it seemed like they were not taught properly by their supervisors. Don't work together as a team whatsoever, i use to work for a dunkin donuts owned by the same owner and that store was just as bad as this one. Meaning nothing has changed in management. Well all that considering, I decided to try a donut. I saw they had the apple crumb donut and asked to get that, it didn't have a name on it but knowing what the donut was I asked for that one. The person didn't even know what donut was the one I requested. If you are working at a donut place and don't know what kind of donut I'm asking for, than obviously there is something wrong..... well I finally received my donut. Eating it on the way home I realized something was missing. The filling.....there was absolutely no filling inside the "apple crumb" donut. Which is supposed to be filled like the apple spice. I will not be returning here. Hopefully things shape up because they are sinking before even starting to sail. Management needs to learn to train the employees correctly. Sticking to the only dunkin donuts that knows what they are doing on 301...
