False advertisement and poor management. My sister and I went there for dinner and had wanted to do the $32 special which included 2 house margaritas but after looking at an advertisement on the table found that it's be cheaper to do the 2 for $20 and get margaritas on the side. There was a clear advertisement on the table that stated 4 margaritas were $5/each all day every day. We clearly pointed to it with the server and even made comment it was cheaper to do it that way. When we got our ticket we were charged full price ($7.99). I asked our server and she stated that the special was only on Thursdays. I showed her the advertisement on the table that said all day every day and ahe just apologized then asked me if I wanted to speak to a manager and I said yes. After about 5 minutes she came back out and said that normally they wouldn't be able to fix it but since it was mothers day they'd go ahead and honor it. (No manager) then she went back and we just sat there waiting to be informed it was fixed so we could pay. About another 5 minutes passed and our waiter came back by and she asked if it'd been fixed so we looked at our ticket and found that one margarita had been completely removed from the ticket but the other was still full price. (Yes this made it cheaper but I didn't not want our waiter getting in trouble since it still wasn't right) she then went back to the manager (who still never came out and spoke with us) then came back out and said that because the way one of our margaritas was in the system he was unable to change the price. Our waiter then told us they weren't doing that special yet. So she told us to go ahead and pay. So I went to swipe my card and after entering my tip in the price went up again on my ticket. They added back on the other margarita. I advised the waiter and she just shrugged her shoulders and said she couldn't do anything about it. At that point I had enough and just paid. They were also out of brocolli for my dish and I heard other servers tell other people they were out of other items as well. What appeared to be the supervisor on the floor seemed very unfocused and inattentive to his tables nor was he very professional. Very disappointed and appears to be a very poor manager. The manager should have been out at my table to address the problem and made sure I was leaving as a satisfied customer and explained his limitations himself so I knew exactly what I was getting. Instead he sat in the back and never once really addressed the problem and what he was doing to help solve the problem appeared to be changing every time out server went back. Also, if you're going to sing a birthday song in your restaurant you better actually put some effort otherwise it gives off a very unprofessional and poor attitude to your customers. 3 staffers sang the traditional chili's happy birthday to a customer and they sounded so annoyed and unenthusiastic that the table decided to do their own song afterwards because their performance...
Read moreWe arrived late. So late that I really didn't think we should be able to have my Birthday dinner there. When we walked in, we were greeted by a really sweet lady. I asked if it was to late for dinner and without hesitation, she said nicely "No! Come on in!"
We had the BEST waiter! He made sure our glasses stayed full and our endless chips never ended. Our dinner we ordered was good except for just 2 things. I ordered the fajitas and my bell peppers were not cooked. I love veggies raw and fajita soft so I just overlooked that and enjoyed my 45th Birthday!! The 2nd meal issue was with my youngest son. He's 10. He ordered an Old Timers burger. It looked yummy when it was brought out to him but when he picked it up to take a bite.... grease poured out of it like a waterfall. Normally he would just say it's okay and eat whatever he orders but that grease kind of turned his stomach, bless his heart. He still said he had a good time and both my boys were highly impressed at how nice, friendly, attentive and polite our waiter was. My oldest son said, "Mama, you and Dad need to give him a BIG tip!! When we were praying before we ate, he waited until we were done to come to our table to bring Dad's hot sauce!!" We did tip him well!!
The kids were disappointed that it was too late for dessert. I told them we were so lucky we were able to have dinner so close to their closing time and told them we would go to Dairy Queen for a blizzard! They understood about the time. It was a great teachable dinner. Giving the kids a great lesson in hospitality by the staff and enjoying our family time together!
Thank You Chili's for letting us have a late dinner!! Your staff is AWESOME!! And your...
Read moreI gave it two stars because the service was awesome. The food however was not good. Our food was not hot at all, we ordered fajitas which come out on a hot plate ours was luke warm like it had been sitting for a while. To make it worse another customer ordered the same thing and it came out sizzling hot we could hear it across the room. My chicken strips were barley warm and soggy which I could tell had been sitting awhile. I got the smokehouse combo platter and the best thing was the corn! The ribs were sad. I also had to send back my appetizer, the skillet queso with beef and it was absolutely horrible! It was canned chili mixed with cheese. The description on the menu is so misleading. Not only was it not hot despite being served in a cast iron skillet, it tasted horrible. Our server was very accommodating and had no problem taking that off my order. The service was awesome but the food left me regretting my choice of wanting chili's 😫 maybe the kitchen just didn't have it together at this location. Needless to say I won't be going back anytime soon I hate it left a bad taste...
