McDonald's — Restaurant in Natchitoches

Service was friendly. Strangely hearing from locals every year they have a Christmas Lightning festival nearby and your swamped!! Mgmt totally unprepared, understaffed, Your crew was trying though both drive through lanes were side by side full and packed about block long if not more plus parking lot full. Luckily when we entered most already had ordered by then. Girl at counter not once flinched! Should get raise! Handled every customer with respect kindness and service well beyond her job. Let alone while others were tending to their duties as well. Maybe not perfect but all were trying their hardest. While our food was slightly over cooked fries mostly seriously and if were were eating in sure they would have replaced them. We were traveling through and grabbed and ran when ready. What amazed me most is nor once did I ever see management or ownership once. Profits were up and if prepared would and could have been much better had they actually staffed to prep for such a crowd! Since this happens yearly! Suggest you prepare for next year or they may go elsewhere, we sure would. Otherwise we appauld your staff. Only thing we saw them run out of was sweet tea. Wow disappointing but wow. Great crew amazing team work people!! ...

Me & bae decided to pick up a light snack from this McDonald's on our way home. The cashier appeared to be the manager & he was very helpful, kind & attentive. I went to the bathroom & it was really in mad shape There was trash everywhere & and surprisingly, even the trash can was full. The drink station was dirty as well; cup tops & straws tossed everywhere. Drink spills all over the counter. Full & overflowing trash in the trash cans. Maybe they were short staffed this day Anyway, I ordered off the "buy one get the other half off" menu if I'm not mistaken. I got Bae the double cheeseburger & I got the Mc chicken The Mc chicken was really small & tasted like it had been under the heat lamp for a long while. I also got some fries & those were hot, salty & DELICIOUS! I got a sweet tea as my drink as well. I have to admit it was a little too sweet, but it was still delicious. We were on a road trip and at around 10pm, I stepped in this store and ordered 4 sandwiches, 8 pieces of chicken nuggets, 2 fries through mobile order. It took them 30 minutes to get the order ready and it wasn’t by any means busy time of the day. The manager came over a few times to say the order was about ready but it was followed by endless waiting. This is the first time I ever have to wait in a McDonald for more than 5 minutes for my order. We were so frustrated at the end since it further pushed back our arrival time at our hotel which became 1am. What totally ruined it all was that they missed the bacon McDouble my son wanted and I had to face a hungry and disgruntled child. When I called and talked the manager, he simply asked me to come back to pick up another one and didn’t even apologize. He said “I did the best I can and there is nothing else I can do”. How would I possibly drive another 20 minutes back and forth and further push back my arrival time at midnight! This is the worst experience I ever had...
