Dairy Queen, or as we all love to call it, DQ, is an absolute classic that serves up more than just ice cream—it's pure joy in a cup! This spot is a gem with its super-friendly and lightning-fast staff who make every visit feel like a mini celebration. They've got allergy-friendly options down to an art, so everyone can dig in without a worry. Parking might be a bit of a squeeze, but no worries—side streets have got you covered. And hey, during rush hour, ditch the left turn and swing right into the brand-new roundabout just 100 feet away—smooth sailing ahead!

Since the 1970’s I’ve been frequenting this establishment. The ice cream treat I’ve shown in the attached photo is one of my all time favorite desserts. Their Two Hot Dog Special is also a seasonal must for me. Between the good service, neighborhood feel and wonderful products this is a super vendor I have utilized for years and I recommend highly.

Friendly, efficient, drive through option, and picnic tables under a shelter. Everything you need for a DQ craving.

This Dairy Queen location has been a seasonal favorite in the area for decades. I have been coming to this stand alone since I was a kid in the early 1970s and still enjoy their swirl cones with the chocolate candy shell. But also be warned... they are only open seasonally! Yep, they are closed over winter. If in question, call them to find out when the season starts or ends as it is not always intuitive. They also do not offer the full Brasier menu. Many of the lunch and snack options available at other DQs are not here. I did see hot dogs on their menu boards but didn't see burgers nor chicken strips. There is no indoor seating nor covered patio seating here. There are a few open picnic tables on the side of the parking lot. Hot sun or any rain gets uncomfortable here quickly and in the evenings the mosquitos come a-callin'. Finally, they have no customer restrooms available. None. Fortunately I keep a water bottle and paper towels in my car so I could wash my hands after my cone dropped all over me. I give this location a lot of credit for surviving when so many of its siblings and competitors have failed the tests of time. A LOT OF CREDIT. The soft serve dipped cones are a classic. The blizzards are great. The ice cream cakes can make a 5 year olds birthday. Sadly there is a lot that this DQ just does not offer. I wish it could be more then a three star but as it is three stars...

Have been an extremely loyal customer for over 10 years...visiting on average once per week during the season and ordering ice cream cakes on average 5 times per year! We even go on clod rainy days when no one else does because my special needs child loves it. However, I will never go there again if it was the last place on earth! I was rudely turned away from the drive through by the owner long before closing as he stood in the street because it was too busy. My special needs child didn’t understand why we weren’t allowed to wait or why the man was “so rude.” He told us to “move along...we’re too busy.” Do yourself a favor and move along from this place. Obviously, they don’t appreciate the business or their long...

Normally I love Dairy Queen, the ice cream is quality and the price isn’t bad. The staff can be rude though, which usually is not thought of. I recently went to Dairy Queen and was served by this young lady with glasses. One blizzard, summer berry cheesecake, contained no cheesecake whatsoever and very few berries, it was very disappointing. My friend received a blizzard with all the stuff sitting on the bottom. Unaware he ate what was basically vanilla ice cream, till he reached the stuff. Probably will go there again, just not to this girl, who definitely wasn’t trained correctly. I would feel bad if she was new, but she was talking to her friend who was visiting about how she never helps the...
