Hilberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in National City

I am born and raised in San Diego and I have been to at least 50 different Mexican Food places from San Ysidro to Escondido and Hilberto's is my favorite taco shop. It has been in this location since the 1980's and the food quality has never changed. All the ingredients are always fresh, everything is always the correct temperature, food is hot, drinks are cold. Was in the area today, so I thought I'd try their rolled tacos. Bought 3 rolled tacos for $5 plus, almost $6.00. The person didn't give us the receipt. Tacos were, humm - okay - just so-so. I didn't particularly like the taste. Meat flavor, the filling, NOOO thank you. Plus tacos were very thin! No girth and were tiny. I gave it 3 stars. That's because the little remican of chili helped to improve the taste of the tacos, but only A LITTLE bit. I removed the meat from the taco and only ate the tortilla shell with the cheese & guacamole. Will I go there again? AWESOME And Quick Service! Idk why people are so ignorant and saying negative things this place always gives great service and quick if I may say. Dont take the opinions of other people who are freaking Picky or just quick to judge. Give this place a try I love everything from the rolled tacos, Carne asada fries, cali burrito, carnitas plate, everything has been good so far and been coming for years now. The salsas are great as well thumbs up for that. This is a go-to place all the time, the employees work hard and are very clean always stocked up never run out of things.
