I am writing to share my recent dining experience, which left me feeling deeply disappointed and disrespected. My fiancé and I have dined with you on multiple occasions and have always had positive interactions until this latest visit. Our waitress (I regret not catching her name in my upset state), mixed up our order. My fiancé ordered only one sushi roll, yet we were initially served two. When my fiancé pointed this out, the server returned-seemingly irritated—but never came back with the corrected order. Instead, she left the food unattended and assisted the neighboring table repeatedly, checking with them about their meals, yet neglected our table completely. To our surprise and discomfort, she only spoke Spanish to us but spoke English to everyone else in the restaurant. I was extremely offended because we speak English there was no language barrier, this struck me as odd and inappropriate. At the point of payment, the same server and a coworker scrutinized a $100 bill my fiancé used, commenting dismissively, "we've seen them before," as though our patronage had raised suspicion. This treatment was unacceptable and unlike anything we've experienced before. We value our relationship with your restaurant, and are upset it ended in such poor service. I highly advise the owner of this restaurant to hire people with better communication and customer service skills We will no longer be coming here and will be letting the public know about our experience.
UPDATE!
Hi Sammy,
I just wanted to thank you for handling the situation so professionally. I really appreciate your approach and how efficiently you addressed everything. It definitely made a positive difference.

Read moreI've been looking for a sushi restaurant that makes a roll with fried banana and I finally found it. Saki Sushi & Grill's monkey roll did not disappoint. I had a roll with fried banana years ago at a local sushi restaurant in Chula Vista but they went out of business. Since then, everytime I ate out for sushi I always asked the server or sushi chef if they had a roll with banana on it. They always look at me as if I were crazy. I'm so glad this place appreciates the perfect combination of fried banana with raw fish. It is seriously delicious! Nevertheless, the service was impeccable. The sushi chef was incredibly nice but not pushy at all (you know what I mean). The owner blew me away. He seemed incredibly humble and very interested in meeting client expectations. The entire place and ambiance was awesome, very clean and a social place you want to be in. 100% recommend this place. I shared the news with my sushi friend lovers, they came here, tried a couple of rolls (including the monkey roll) and they were blown away by freshness of it all. This place is the real deal when it...
Read moreMy husband and I went here for dinner one day by mistake. It used to be another sushi place that we had never been to either but that one closed down and we didn't realize it. However we are really happy that we came. First of all the service is top-notch. I don't remember her name but she was just the right amount of attentive and hands-off. You know what I mean. She wasn't standing over us the entire meal or trying to talk to us the whole time. The menu is very extensive. Honestly maybe a little bit too much because there was so much that I couldn't figure out what I want and that's coming up from someone who only eats cooked sushi. My husband who eats both cooked and raw is so excited to go back because he has plans on all the different stuff he wants to try lol. Also he got some hot sake and really loved it. They have a special that I'm not sure is available all the time or just at happy hour but it's $7 for a large. And their prices are really good. My absolute favorite sushi place is Naruto sushi in Chula Vista but this was a...
