First time customer.
The hostess looks bored and unapproachable, qualities not wanted in a hostess. Got seated fairly quickly.
Once seated, drinks were quickly taken. After that, we were ready to order, but had to wait about 5 minutes for the drinks to arrive and then were asked to wait so a table could get their order in first because they too had been waiting.
Root beer float arrived, but then 20 minutes passed before the food arrived. I would have liked to enjoy my float with my burger.
A piece of my bacon was burnt at the end, but overall, the food was decent. The food wasn't bad, everything just took too long and hampered our dining experience. Little things from waiting for silverware to having to get the employee's attention to ask for the check. Once the check was dropped, I had my credit card ready, but she scurried off.
In terms of ambiance, it was really cold and dark like a dungeon. Another customer used her cell phone flashlight to read the menu.
The party after us got their food much faster even though they arrived and sat down much after us.
I recommend either bringing in another server, or at minimum train the hostess and do more frequent...
Read moreI honestly have no clue how this place has close to 5 stars.i tried it when they first opened and ordered a burger. They didnt ask how i wanted it cooked which led me to believe the burgers were frozen. I ordered onion rings and they were way too salty. Slappy sauce was on point though. I wrote it off as a terrible place but about a month-ish later i saw that they had a really high rating on google. I figured i just went on a bad day and wanted to give this place another shot. I live in national city and i love burgers so i really wanted this place to work out. Second time i went with another friend to give this place one more try. The second time they asked how i wanted my burger cooked to which i said medium rare . Well....burger came back well done and under seasoned. Oinion rings were still salty and probably frozen . We both concluded that this place wasnt good. Why pay for a burger when you could make a better one at home. They are not to my standards or perhaps i set the bar too high but they definitely do not deserve a high rating for such a sub par...

The minute you walk through the door, you’re greeted with smiles and a warm “hi.” There’s a TV on every wall, so you’ll always have a great view of the game from any seat. They show sports, boxing, and MMA on all the screens, and there’s a full bar along with a great selection of beers on tap.
The food is amazing—some of my favorites are the lemon pepper chicken wings, Slappy Burger, fettuccine Alfredo, and the Chicago dog, just to name a few. I highly recommend stopping by anytime, especially during baseball or football season, to catch a game and have...
