This was some of the best sushi I have ever had outside traditional Japanese sushi. The facade and interior has a little left to be desired. I almost didnāt enter as I was clutching my pearls concerned for the safety and security at this location. They need to clean up the former 7-11 facade and make their interior a little more cozy. However, I'm glad we didn't. The inside is very inviting and comfortable, you are immediately greeted with a smile and seated. The prices are very good base on the amount of food you get. We had thought the rolls would be small like the average rolls you get in Connecticut but we were surprised to see rolls measuring at least a foot (9-10) pieces. Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat sushi spot! Their rolls are fresh and flavorful, and the teriyaki bowls are fantastic. We pick up food here a couple of times a month, and the experience is consistently solid. The employees are always attentive, friendly, and welcoming.
The only downside is the locationāparking can be a bit tight during busy hours, and the entrance is easy to miss since itās located on a busy corner. If you do miss it, expect to make a couple of U-turns to get back around.
Overall, itās definitely worth it for the quality of the food...
