I ordered a cake three and a half weeks before my event and she confirmed my order. There was back and forth communication about picking up the cake and the schedule changed a couple of times. Each time there were modifications to the schedule both parties agreed upon them. Once the delivery was determined she never showed up with the cake after I had already sent her the money with a significant tip. She ignored multiple calls from me, my family and friends. I finally noticed a post on her personal Facebook page so I texted to request my money back. She refunded me and had 0 reason why she could not perform the service. I had ordered a guitar cake for my dads 60th birthday, the cake was delicious, and turned out very cute.... HOWEVER, I had to pick it earlier for my travel dates and called her before hand which was fine. The DAY before I was scheduled to pick it up I called her to confirm the day and time so there wasnt any confusion. Well when I show up at 11:30am the cake was just finished getting iced. She told me to give her another hour, LUCKILY we weren't leaving for our trip yet. I come back in and hour and wait, still not done, then I see her rushing to try and finish it. This was the most absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. We never even got our cake for our daughter’s occasion. Yes, we did confirm with you the date, time, type of cake and everything down to the details. We ordered, were quoted, and you never even reached back out to me to pick up our cake ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT. I’m pretty sure you saw my missed calls and text and realized you never made our daughter’s cake. My daughter is young enough to not remember this, but her parents will never forget this terrible memory. We wanted to support you with the mixed reviews we heard about and were extremely disappointed. I don’t want to taint the reputation of a business, especially a local one, but this is something I want parents to be aware of.
